About
Burialgoods is the handle of a voice actor who narrates greentexts, Tumblr posts, literary excerpts and other content that are uploaded to the YouTube channel of the same name. Launched in 2023, the channel has since amassed a significant following.
Online History
On March 31st, 2023, burialgoods uploaded his first narration to YouTube,[1][2] a video of himself reading an excerpt from Agricola by Tacitus, which received over 450 views in one year. On April 19th, 2023, burialgoods posted his first narration of a 4chan greentext, a video titled "Most based human being on earth," which accumulated over 269,000 views on YouTube[3] in ten months (shown below).
Through 2023 and 2024, burialgoods continued to upload narrations of viral greentexts, Tumblr posts and other content to his YouTube channel, with multiple uploads going viral. On July 5th, 2023, burialgoods uploaded "Tolkien naming his characters," his most popular video as of February 2024, which accumulated over 1.7 million views on YouTube[4] in that period (shown below, left). A video[5] uploaded on August 17th, 2023, received over 1.2 million views in six months (shown below, right).
As of February 20th, 2024, burialgoods had over 82,000 followers on YouTube.
