History
Greentext Era
On March 31st, 2023, burialgoods uploaded his first narration to YouTube,[3] a video of himself reading an excerpt from Agricola by Tacitus, which received over 450 views in one year. On April 19th, 2023, burialgoods posted his first narration of a 4chan greentext, a video titled "Most based human being on earth," which accumulated over 313,000 views on YouTube[4] as of November 27th, 2024.
Through 2023 and early 2024, burialgoods continued to upload narrations of viral greentexts, Tumblr posts, and other content to his YouTube channel, with multiple uploads going viral. Most of his greentexts focused on dark humorous situations, often relating to the military, firearms, or history. His most viewed greentext video is “Tolkein naming his characters,”[5] with 2.5 million views.
Esoteric Meme Era
Starting on March 2nd, 2024, burialgoods stopped regularly uploading voice-overs of greentexts and switched to primarily voicing esoteric memes. These videos usually focus on philosophical topics such as mortality, ethics, and the meaning of life. Others are schizoposts that leave the viewer with more questions than answers. Many of these memes are based on eastern religions, famous literature, Rage Comics, video games, or the flat-out weird. He has also stopped uploading daily, focusing on quality over quantity.

BrotherPosting
burialgoods’ most recent claim to fame has been his “brother may I have some oats” video, which was mentioned earlier. This video, especially the voice over, became widely popular, with many users creating animations to accompany burialgoods’ voiceover. This video was a tribute to Oatposting. Burialgoods’ rendition of this meme led to him featured on Lessons on Meme Culture[8]. After this enormous success, with the help of R.J. Williamson, burialgoods created several more “brother may I” videos. Two of these subsequent vidoes are based upon Cat wanting fruit loops and Moth Lamp. Some have theorized that these subsequent videos represent one of the seven deadly sins.
