Peter, What Are You Doing?, also known as Peter Griffin Does Crack, is a scene from the 2007 Family Guy episode "Peter's Two Dads." The original scene has been edited in various ways as an exploitable, such as YouTube Poop edits, or as a redraw by replacing Peter and Brian with different characters from pop culture or memes.

Origin

The episode "Peter's Two Dads" originally aired on Fox on February 11th, 2007.^[1] In the scene, Peter realizes how bad his drinking problem has gotten and vows to never drink again. However, he tries kicking the drinking habit by smoking crack instead, much to the shock of Brian. A clip of the scene was posted to YouTube^[2] by the channel Fionn on August 15th, 2014, and has received over 200,000 views in roughly seven years (shown below).

On April 7th, 2019, YouTuber^[3] NANGY posted the earliest known edit of the meme to YouTube, which replaces Peter and Brian with Doge versions of themselves. The video received over 8,500 views in over a year (shown below).

On April 8th, 2019, YouTuber^[4] Firstlasty posted an edit of the scene to YouTube that replaces Brian with Goomba from Mario Pissing. The video received over 3,000 views in over a year (shown below, left). On May 5th, 2019, YouTuber^[5] Big Biscuitz Meme Dump posted an edit of Firstlasty's edit that gives the Goomba different dialogue at the end of the video. This edit received over 13,000 views in over a year (shown below, right).

On October 15th, 2021, YouTuber^[6] conkface posted an edit of the scene to YouTube in which Peter shatters into glass. This edit received over 72,000 views in over two months (shown below).

On November 1st, 2021, YouTuber^[7] RabbitWithAGun45 posted an edit of the scene to YouTube that replaces Brian with Rika Furude from Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni saying Nipah. The edit received over 9,900 views in over a month (shown below, left). On November 21st, 2021, YouTuber^[8] Stickmanlolz posted a redrawn version of RabbitWithAGun45's edit. This edit received over 12,000 views in one month (shown below, right).
