About
Say "Gambare Gambare" is a viral video of content creator Ian Boggs (@IanBoggs) saying, "Ganbare ganbare," at the request of a fan, a line spoken as a taunt by the character Ryomen Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen (JJK). In the video, Ian first corrects the spelling of "ganbare," then shows a clip of him saying it in his closest Sukuna impression.
The video was uploaded to TikTok in late May 2021 and went viral. In March 2026, the video became the subject of memes, including brainrot edits and Accuracy Reenactments.
Origin
On May 31st, 2021, TikToker[1] @Ianboggs posted a video where, at the request of a viewer, he says Sukuna's taunting catchphrase, "Ganbare ganbare." The viewer asks him to say "gambare gambare," misspelling the word. Boggs says:
Say 'gambare gambare.' Okay. But I do have to let you know, it's actually 'ganbare ganbare' with two "N's." Also, I tried saying it right after I woke up so I could sound more like Sukuna. So, just a fair warning, it's a bit cringey.
Boggs then plays a clip of himself after just waking up, saying, "ganbare ganbare," in his closest Sukuna voice. The video ends with a clip of Boggs admitting via a caption that the clip is cringe. The video gained over 1.1 million views in five years.
