Epithet Erased is an animated web series created by Brendan Blaber, better known as JelloApocalypse on YouTube. The series streams on VRV. It follows a series of characters gifted with an "epithet," or a word inscribed on their soul that grants them special powers. In "Sweet Jazz City" there exists an amulet that can steal other's epithets, making it a highly desirable item for thieves. Each episode thus far focuses primarily on a single character character with the promise that storylines will intertwine towards the series' conclusion.

History

On November 8th, 2019, VRV premiered the first episode of Epithet Erased.[1] The series premiered on YouTube two weeks later, gaining over 650,000 views (shown below).


As of December 23rd, 2019, all seven episodes of the series have premiered on VRV, with the first 5 episodes available on YouTube (examples shown below).


Online Presence

The show has proven popular, with each episode gaining over at least 200,000 views on YouTube. The series also has a dedicated TV Tropes[2] page and Wiki.[3] The series' official Twitter[4] page has gained over 2,600 followers since it went active in November of 2019. Epithet Erased has a sizable fan art community on Tumblr [5](examples shown below).

Still like the show, but it is ridiculous that he expected people to pay money to see a glorified animatic.

I'm probably going to be downvoted as hell for this but :

This should be renamed "Lazy Animation : The Series".

Even South Park where the lazy animation is the whole point of the series is better animated than this.

Maybe the story is good, maybe not, but without hesitation, this is a "no" for me.
