The Hulk Saying "Bruh" refers to a scene from the 2022 Disney+ Marvel series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law where The Hulk (played by Mark Ruffalo) says "bruh" in response to She-Hulk breaking some of his equipment. The scene became the subject of image macro memes and reactions in the days after the show's first episode release, some seeing it as an example of a "How Do You Do, Fellow Kids?" moment where the writers tried to use modern slang to appeal to the younger generation.

Origin

On August 18th, 2022, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was released on Disney+. In the first episode, Jennifer Walters (She-Hulk) and The Hulk discuss how Walters is still completely conscious and lacks an alter ego as She-Hulk in contrast to Bruce Banner's transformation. She then destroys some equipment in The Hulk's lab. In response, he says, "Bruh."^[1] The scene was uploaded to YouTube that same day (shown below).

The scene where Hulk says "bruh" was shared numerous times the day it premiered and over the following days, including by Twitter^[2][3] users @wandapilots and @Earth_928_2099, garnering over 3,900 likes and 7,300 likes, respectively, in a week (shown below).
