Tiny Shrek refers to an edited video of a small rendering of the character Shrek running a course at the Westminster Dog Show.

On May 2nd, 2019, Twitter [1] user @chanbanhi posted the video of a small rendering of Shrek running a Westminster Dog Show track. The post received 247,000 retweets, 609,000 likes and 12 million views in four days (shown below). On Instagram, the video gained additional 484,000 views and 75,800 likes in the same period.[6]

That day, Redditor [5] Adamsappleonline posted the video on the /r/unexpected subreddit. The video received more than 57,000 points (83% upvoted) and 990 comments in four days.

Following the release of the video, people began praising and meme-ing the clip. For example, Twitter[2] user @sxm__mo posted a screenshot of Shrek jumping a barrier (shown below, left). They wrote, "me dodging work on a friday afternoon."

Twitter[3] user @chloeroseemoji posted an image from the video and wrote, "this ruined me." The post received more than 140 retweets and 4,200 likes in four days (shown below, right).

On May 4th, 2019, Mashable [4] posted an article about the video. Speaking with Tiny Shrek's creator, they wrote, "He just looks ridiculous flailing around like that with a super calm face. I spent a lot of time making it look believable, at least as believable a tiny Shrek running around obstacles can be."
