Top 10 Goobie Woobies or Gooby Woobies is a viral video on TikTok in which user epic.mac lists his top 10 "goobie woobies," showing images of random creatures, animals and items while listing off their nonsensical names. The video was originally posted in 2022 and went viral in April and May 2023 as users applied new visuals to the audio, some of which gained viral spread online. The slang term "goobie woobies" is loosely defined and meant to be absurd.
Origin
On September 17th, 2022, TikToker[1] @epic.mac posted a video where he lists his top 10 "goobie woobies," not defining what exactly makes a goobie woobie. He then lists 10 absurd names like "Goopoo Loopoo" and "TJ Cream" along with images of various creatures, animals and objects. The video gained over 616,000 views in eight months (shown below).

Spread
The video's original audio became increasingly popularized throughout 2022, also gaining viral spread on other platforms. On October 14th, 2022, TikToker[2] @sadlibraryghost posted a video to the sound that gained over 64,000 views in seven months, which was reposted on Reddit to the subs /r/196[3] and /r/PrehistoricMemes[4] on November 18th and 19th, garnering over 700 and 240 upvotes, respectively, in six months (shown below).

The sound became increasingly prevalent throughout early 2023. On April 18th, 2023, Twitter[5] user @catwheezie posted a video using the audio over images of cats, garnering over 5,800 likes in a month. On April 21st, the Instagram[6] page anthropodarchives posted a video applying the audio to bugs, garnering over 90,500 likes in a month. On May 15th, TikToker[7] @jims_urbex posted a version of the meme that gained over 1.9 million views in a week (shown below, left). On May 22nd, TikToker[8] @rmoney2_2 posted a video that gained over 730,000 views in two days (shown below, right).
