Wears only the finest, shiniest plate due to to point-buy) scrub shine The armour's just there for show, let Follows battle tactics, sits and waits Relies on magic armor: would slap on ugly peasant leather if it were +5 CHAAAAAAARGE! everyone know what they're dealing with; the Listens the enemy taunting, does nothing No faith, no self-esteem; lured in by the temptations of the arcane First to clash with the foe, true defense is his unshakeable faith and Coward Modern armour fashion is garish and bright last to quit the field righteous will! Literally immune to fear Plain silver, maybe a bit of gold lining At least he has chicken! Does diplomacy, compromises Stylish and timeless Accepts surrender THE most Lawful and Good there ever was Adopts the baby orcs Does whatever brings the most benefit to the greater number of decent Puts the "pal" in "paladin Alignment doesn't matter, just take up a quick specific oath and don't thinking creatures and the least woe to the rest Kill them all, let their gods sort them out worry about it; anything goes (It's punchy, flavourful, deeply philosophical and thematically connected, yet The orcs would grow up evil anyway Still bears the scars of twenty years of s----- DMs with Paladin Fall boners open for interpretation, guiding roleplay instead of being a straitjacket. The brigands could slip back to their ways What's not to like? Why do people harp on about it?) It's all just "guidelines" anyway Won't even tolerate evil party members Follows every tenet of chivalry; embodies the pure heroic ideal Only survives because no one dies nowadays (Neutrals get a pass for this adventure only) It's the most lethal edition, yet he won't die even if he's killed You didn't call him here to mince words Not even any good at his job; needs to multi into a caster to make it work Leave the peace talks to the bard Warlocks keep hogging on his turf No multiclassing - born as a cavalier, dies as a cavalier, needs nothing else, shuns sorcery Suffer not the witch to live: resistant to magic, mind control Saves the day, gets all the chicks (Charisma grants huge comeliness bonus; nothing in chivalry about oaths of chastity)
