It is with this comment that I would know the aliens and I would get along. If they have the sense of humor of a teenager on Newgrounds, we're golden.

From what little I know from Star Trek, the vulcans:

1. Valued humans first contact because they didn't saw the aliens establishing first contact as enemies or potential assets to manipulate in their favor, they just wanted someone to vibe with, I mean that's the entire reason they built interstellar capable spacecraft.

2. From a Vulcan's cultural point of view the First Handshake was basically "I'm down to fuck". I mean they were actively monitoring Earth, knew our culture and customs, but still some horny Vulcan decided to go down there and t**ch h*nds anyway
