Cooking With Kya has blown up this past year for her cooking content on Instagram and TikTok, but a recent video has inspired a wave of reactions and memes about the rising star and her videos, which arguably include a lot more twerking than the average cooking video.

Who Is Cooking With Kya?

Cooking With Kya, real name Kya Renee, is a content creator known for her cooking videos. She started posting cooking videos to Instagram in July 2024 and gained a steady following over the next five months on both Instagram and TikTok, with over 700,000 followers on the former and 800,000 on the latter.

Beyond cooking content, Kya is also known to post modeling photos, dance videos and lip dubs.

Most of Kya's cooking videos begin with her dancing and swaying her hips while holding her completed plate of food and chanting, "Cooking with Kaya, Cooking with Kaya." She'll often throw a twerk in there, too. Cooking With Kya really started blowing up on TikTok on December 2nd, 2024, when she posted a video in which she makes a delicious-looking breakfast.
