Canadian YouTuber Twomad was found dead at age 23 on February 14th, nearly four days after his reported death. Police were sent to his Los Angeles home to conduct a welfare check-in, wherein they found Twomad, whose real name was Muudea Sedik. Some internet users even shared their reasons for believing he had overdosed at his desk while playing Overwatch.

But the news of the YouTuber's death was not met with touching eulogies or reprisals of his friends' best memories of him. On the contrary, the internet appeared to light up with celebrations of the young creator's passing.

Twomad's reported history of assault and stalking, alongside his internet history of repeated inappropriate and offensive comments no doubt played a significant role in the way his death was received. Here's a recap of the YouTuber's online presence, both in life and in death.

Who Was Twomad And Why Was He Famous?

Twomad, whose real name was Muudea Sedik, was a YouTuber known for popularizing memes such as 21st century humor and "Goodnight girl, I'll see you tomorrow," as well as his recent history of assault and stalking allegations.

Twomad began his internet career with his gaming YouTube channel in 2016, where he posted meme compilations and "You Laugh You Lose" style reaction videos. Over time, Twomad began to stream on Twitch to a following of nearly a million people, before switching to YouTube after a permanent ban.

What Were The Allegations Against Twomad?

In 2023, Twomad made an unsavoury tweet about Brianna Ghey, a young British trans girl who was the victim of a hate crime that year. The backlash to his tweet garnered the attention of @GlocksGoldi, a cosplayer who posted her account of being assaulted and then repeatedly stalked by the YouTuber.

@GlocksGoldi described Twomad as a "terrible terrible person," posting a video of him spamming her texts while seemingly admitting to his crimes.

Moreover, X user and YouTuber @Jameskii posted an account of his experience with Twomad's stalking behavior, describing an instance in which he claims Twomad tried to murder him and placed other lives in danger.

How Did People React To Twomad's Death?

A rumor about Twomad dying while playing Overwatch spread soon after news of his passing broke, with X user @Slade91021 sharing a screenshot that showed that Twomad had seemingly been playing Overwatch for five days straight, or nearly as long as it took to find his body.

Many reactions to Twomad's death took on a mocking tone, with X user @notRedspot posting a morbid joke about Twomad's Overwatch teams getting mad at him, not knowing that he is dead.

Another user posted an image of the YouTuber's YouTooz doll, saying that it was "pretty funny" that the doll was number 23, the same age as him when he died.
