He's right if this menace is to be stopped then half the space faring races need to unite as one interstellar army. The reason I have done much now is because that shield that they have really throws a wrench to any plans I can make to stop them. Not only do we need to work together we also need to catch them off guard.

The last time you started using Asian proverbs before going to war in an RP thread, it didn't go so well for you.

Uh, Cale ended the game before I could do anything. You realize I had like, what, 5 turns to handle the tiny amount of land I had, Hokkaido? Everyone else was building empires, and I had to deal with an entire Shogunate. You really expect me to conquer all of the Eastern hemisphere with the limited space, time, and actual choices?

With what little resources you had, it was ignorant of you to attack a non-hostile, more powerful region on the grounds that they wouldn't join forces with you. Because of your choice in declaring war, you wasted turns and resources in what ended up being a fruitless effort. You did not "have" to deal with the Shogunate, you chose to.

I'm saying, at this time, it would be good to re-evaluate what is best for your race before once again attacking an enemy that is much more powerful than you.

Our alternative is allowing a hostile force to roam free with a weapon of mass destruction. Allow me to reiterate another one of Sun Tzu's quotations:
"The object of all war is peace."
Akash wages wars for nothing but personal gain. While they live, peace cannot exist.

It was a forum game, I'm not going to sit and do nothing. Besides, with Syndic's huge empire next to me, you expect me to be a peaceful little nation? I tried diplomacy, many, many times. I waged war simply because I was at a very difficult state. I may have been able to trick the Shogun's forces into falling for my trap, but the game ended too soon. You should also note that I am very cautious in who I wage war with this time. Have you not noticed I've issued warnings? Rather than invade systems? You're overseeing what I'm doing. And I attacked your Akash to help in the effort to stop the greatest threat. Don't tell me that was stupid as well. No one is invincible. So in war, the way is to avoid what is strong, and strike at what is weak.

I believe that being discrete is a key quality when it comes to going about your goals. Avoid attention, avoid civil matters, avoid conflict. Strike when absolutely ready, win the war before it has begun, it draws less attention that way.

The Akash on the other hand have done a fine job of attracting the attention of just about every player and their nan to their destructive activities.

In short, see the Chimera as allies when it comes to dealing with the Akash threat, we plan to act in preparation for an attack upon the Lobstar next turn.

How the shit did a ship capable of destroying systems even come to fruition in this game?

Has conversation seriously turned to an unrelated thread?

I agree with Laika on both topics. We desperately need to all pitch in with whatever we have to defeat the Lob Star or our asses are grass, and those of you talking about Nations or whatever should take it to PMs or risk the thread becoming even more derailed.

@Laika in particular, I noticed the term "near-infinite power" was suspiciously used twice last turn, once in reference to your wormhole technology, and the other time in reference to madcat's new Dyson Swarm array around Jubatus. I'm not entirely sure what could be done with wormholes to combat the Akash, but I feel like this must be significant. Maybe if you, madcat, and Panda worked together you could wormhole Eldinane on top of the Lob Star and consume it?

As for the rest of you, we need all of you (yes, even you, Furry) to experiment with tech to destroy the Lob Star. If you've got any idea at all about a potential weakness for the Lob Star, get to work on building something to take advantage of it. Right now, I'm working on some phase bombs to attack the core with.

Also, Crow, I think you might be able to research the red matter further if you develop a device that freezes time and take the stuff to a less-inhabited system. You're the only one with any red matter, so you are crucial in this operation.

@Sir Crona: Currently the Akash wage war for nothing besides vengeance. When the universe comes together to destroy you it tends to make you want to destroy the universe.

@Gary/Taryn: I suppose its a good thing that all of Japan is in the past. Lets focus on this game and not derail the thread any further.

@Everybody: I am writing Turn 11 now, no further PMs for it will be accepted.

Well Maybe Akash shouldn't commit genocide and subjugate other races
Like shit Akash what where you thinkin

@Snickerway,

At the moment I have some secret business going down on Earth, when I'm done digging around I should be able to supply myself with plenty more power, see this as a benefit to our current cause and not a future threat. I should then be able to somehow weaponize a Wormhole like you've said.

I have a proposition however, I Mega EMP the Lobstar and then we pounce it with everything we've got. The EMP should cripple the ship long enough for us to bring it down, or cause it some form of considerable damage.

We should definitely attack it first though and waste no time in doing so, destroy the thing as quickly as possible, I mean it can destroy a whole system within a turn. We have very little time to spend trying to form new techs to combat it with.

The Akash evolved from humans, so it's probably revenge for all the crab hunting and eating and shit. I assume they attacked Sol out of spite, and are now laying revenge on the races that retaliated.

Or they're just a tool to make the game go by faster. Either one makes sense.

I've got an idea…

Next turn you use whatever power source you've got to rig up a wormhole at the uninhabited Eldan system. Then, when the Lob Star appears, you hit it with the EMP to disable its shielding and open the other end of the wormhole. The rest of us rush it and knock it into the wormhole. When it's in Eldan, Crow sends in one ship to open the red matter vial, causing the system to go nova and destroy the Lob Star while it's vulnerable. Sound good?

Yeah sorry guys, though it never was my intention to derail the thread.

Anyways, I'm working on a little something. It'll be useful.
Oh, and it'd be smart to discuss tactics via PM, away from everyone else and potential threats.

Enix
Gigas
Hydra
Jubatus
Kellar
Nihilus
Richt
Sol
Sün
Taiyo
Teitia
The Vlad
Theren
Titania

NEW RULE ON WORMHOLES AND STARGATES
Colored lines have been added to the map. This represents whether or not a stargate is open for travel from that direction. A red line indicates a "closed" entrance, and you will be attacked on sight if you attempt to enter from that direction. A green line indicates an "open" entrance, and you will be able to move freely through that system if you enter from that direction. You may open or close stargate entrances at your leisure in your turn; it does not count as one of your five actions. You may no longer designate specific players allowed to use your stargate, as this is too difficult to keep track of.

NEW TIMELINE INFORMATION
Thanks to the efforts of Sir Crona and the Redmagus time travelers, the timeline has been altered significantly. In this new universe, the Akash never rose to great power. Humanity became a spacefaring civilization much sooner than it should have and conquered Trishul with the help of the Ruskies, discovered the Lob Star, and then used the battlestation to destroy the Ruskies and the Yakkul. The Akash, through superior diplomacy and a show of strength, have convinced the humans that they would make better comrades than slaves, and have forged an alliance within the Terran Empire.

As a result of this, territorial gains by any player in the Dipta and Sol systems has been reversed.

LOB STAR LOCATION REVEALED
Stargate observation has revealed that the Lob Star is making its way from The Vlad through Dipta and towards Titania. It will be there on Turn 12.

NEW TECHNOLOGY RULES
Time will now advance in series of 5 years at a time. Technology projects started after Turn 11 take three turns to invent. Alternatively, you may steal up to one technology per turn from another player. This counts as your single tech development per turn, and has a 33% chance to fail. You may no longer work on two techs per turn to catch up with other players.

Terran Empire – NPC
Tech: FTL, Plasma Weaponry, Atmospheric Terraforming, Energy Shielding, Genetic Engineering, Warp Drive, Dyson Swarm, Climate Control, Fusion Power, Kinetic Weaponry, Spice, The Lob-Star, Red Matter, Crabapults, Ship Pincers, Lattice Armor

Dipta
-Akash warriors have been incorporated into the Imperial Fleet. Their own flagships have been constructed near Trishul, and their unique ship designs have the potential to innovate space warfare.

Titania
-Preliminary scouting parties arrive, surveying the area in preparation for the arrival of the Lob Star.
-War is declared upon the Arcadians. The cause is cited as the theft of spice and red matter from the Lob Star during the times of chaos which ensued during the recent war with the Ruskies of Requiem.

Twintanirig – Honeytiger
Tech: FTL, Planetary EM Field, Climate Control, Atmospheric Terraforming, Viral Engineering, Cancer Bomb, Warp Drive, Orbital Drilling Laser, Weaponized Catnip (1/2)

Bine
-Caledonia XI is colonized. Peaceful relations are attempted with the Cupitor, with the express motion of maintaining as much peace as possible.

Barnard
-Two fleets are moved into orbit of Eldinane. For what purpose, it is hard to guess. Fleet admirals are concerned about their proximity to the monster planet, and are requesting actual orders.

Droresa – RocketPropelledPanda
Tech: FTL, Genetic Engineering, Spontaneous Organics, Alchemy, Warp Drive, Energy Redirection, Efficiency, Reactionary Defense, Light Absorbtion (1/2)

Barnard
-Eldinane physically reaches through space towards Tessa. The planet is almost within reach.
-The planet is structuring its outer atmosphere into the ultimate greenhouse, trapping in all light and using it as power.

Requiem – Mr.Stalker
Tech: FTL, Supreme Vodka, Leviathan, Dyson Swarm, Anti-Railgun Railguns, Flying Biospheres, Space Drill (1/2), Replicator

The Vlad
-Thanks to Sir Crona's alterations to the timeline, history played out differently and the attack on Dipta system came much earlier. Despite this development, The Vlad was still destroyed; territorial disputes following the fall of Trishul led to war with the Terran Empire, which used the Lob Star to destroy The Vlad.

Sol
-The Terran Empire refuses entry to the system.

The Chimera – Laika
Tech: FTL, Atmospheric Terraforming, Mega EMP, Teleportation, Mega Shield, Super Death Cannon, Wormholes, Teleportation Jammers (1/2)

Sol
-In this timeline, the Chimera do not have a presence in Sol System.

Hydra
-The stargate is taken and all fleets converge on it.
-Fleets are equipped with Mega Shields designed to survive supernova conditions. Planets would be equipped with them as well if the Chimera had a power source to maintain them.

Arcadia – CrowTheMagician
Tech: FTL, Cloaking, Atmospheric Terraforming, Nanomanufacturing, Ion Weapons, Fusion Power, Psychic Energy, Tripods, A Single Vial of Red Matter, Spice Seeds, Warp Drive, City Ships (1/2)

Titania
-The Terran Empire has declared war on Arcadia. The Lob Star is approaching and will arrive next turn.
-The stargate is claimed. Researchers gather around to observe the phenominon.
-The Great Library has been completed on Lasombra.
-The World's Fair is held on Camarilla, showcasing the technology of the future. At the center of the fair is a model of a future city-ship.

Sol
-In this timeline, Arcadia does not have a presence in Sol System.

Cattonia – Madcat
Tech: FTL, Plasma Weapons, Energy Shielding, Power Armor, Dyson Swarm, Fusion Power, EMP, Atmospheric Terraforming, Freeze Ray, Swarm Ships (1/2)

Jubatus
-Research has begun on fighter designs for the construction of a cheap, expendable drone swarm.
-The stargate is taken.

Teitia
-The stargate is taken here too.
-The Twintanirig are removed completely from the system. Their last refuges are assaulted and occupied.

Theren
-The stargate is taken. Three, three stargates! Ah, ah, ah.

Cupitor – TripleA9000
Tech: FTL, Laser Weapons, Magnetic Weaponry, Fusion Power, Artificial Habitat, Energy Shields, Genesis Device, Weaponized Black Holes, Gundams

Gigas
-The stargate is taken and placed on lockdown; anything that comes through will be attacked.
-Supplies are sent to Canus and Albas to further along development to pre-Genesis levels. The efforts are a success, and the planets are speedily recovering.
-Orbital habitats are strengthened with weapons systems.
-The black hole generator is complete. Miniscule, rapidly dissolving black holes have successfully been created and weaponized.

Explodonatia – Snickerway
Tech: FTL, Space Flamethrowers, Super Lasers, Thermal Phylacteries, Time Displacement, Mind Control, Ice Breaker Gun, Time Travel, Phase Shifting (1/2)

Enfer
-The stargate is put on lockdown. Anybody travelling through it is to be assaulted with mind control and probably killed.
-Time travelling Explodonatians are lost and presumed dead. Those capable of observing the difference in timeline have noted that the Lob Star now has thicker armor and is nearly four times larger than before.

Tesser – Serious Business
Tech: FTL, Swarm Ships, Atmospheric Terraforming, Geothermal Terraforming, Energy Shields, Tel-Empathy, Alpha Centauri Ship, Travel Disruption

Barnard
-Eldinane physically reaches through space to consume Tessa. It is now almost literally within arms reach of the planet. Doom may befall Tessa after all…
-The people of Tessa, terrorized by Droresa, are fleeing the planet in droves to far flung colonies.

Redmagus – Sir Crona Statscowski
Tech: FTL, Psychic Energy, Fusion Power, Psybernetics, Cloaking, Artificial Intelligence, Temporal SMS, Time Travel, Viral Engineering, Time Travel Mk2 (1/2)

Enix
-The work required to time travel and maintain temporal sanity (understand that there were changes to the timeline) for an entire empire is daunting. Each previous venture into the past makes the preparation for the trip exponentially more difficult. Further attempts to travel through time may begin to sap from other points in Redmagus history, permanently damaging the societal structure of the entire civilization.
-Two envoys are sent back in time to warn Humanity and the Ruskies about the Akash.
-Garland is now a potato, thanks to a temporal paradox.

Sol
-Time travelers arrive to warn the Earth of the future Akash invasion. This succeeds in unifying the earth by 1943 under one state: The Terran Empire. Humans take to the stars sooner than in the original timeline as a result and settle in many systems, fortifying their borders and constructing a vast and powerful fleet.

The Vlad
-Warnings are sent to the Ruskies about the future destruction of their system. To counteract this, the Ruskies attack the Akash as soon as they become a spacefaring civilization and find Dipta. Unfortunately, this puts them at odds with the Terran Empire, which promptly utilizes the Lob Star to destroy The Vlad.

Kadresha – A Furry
Tech: FTL, Mining Lasers, Ion Cannons, Kinetic Weaponry, Drone Bombs, Artificial Intelligence, Deep Radar, Atmospheric Ignition Bomb (1/2), Automatic Sandwich Maker (1/2), Kibbles and Bits

Kellar
-The legislator is not quite 'rad' or 'cool' enough to get kids these days. After much debate, the lawmakers decide to let the kids have a go at making laws and instead take up demolition derby as their occupation. When the experiment ends, the legislator refuse to leave the derby, either because they are unable due to injuries or unwilling due to fun. A new legislator is elected and the demolition derby is demilitarized.
-Kibbles and Bits is released into the market and catches on like wildfire. These multi-grain, multi-protein, multi-vitamin, all-in-one nutrition nuggets are not only good for you, but delicious as well! Every dog and his grandma rush to the stores to pull what Kibbles and/or Bits they can off the shelves.
-WE ARE KADRESHA. KNOW THAT WE ARE NOT AFRAID. WE BASK IN THE GLORY THAT IS OUR BIRTHRIGHT. WE REMAIN UNMAIMED. DON'T LOOK AT US.
-In this timeline, the Terran Empire controls Selvas II.
-Theoretical physicists turn their eyes to the stars and ask: what is a Syndic?
-The stargate is taken and guarded by a fleet. The Terrans are upset by this, and demand that travel remain free.
-Somebody poked the stargate. Now he is in Sün system.

The Imperium Collectives – GaryTheStoßtruppen
Tech: FTL, Lightsabers, Twin Ion Engines, Energy Shielding, Turbolasers, Sky Cities, AT-ATs, Power Armor (1/2), MegaTurboLasers, Sky Satellites

Nihilus
-The technology required for "sky satellites" is complete. And by sky satellite, we mean planet ship.
-Construction has begun on what will probably become the death star. For defense, of course. Megaturbolasers are fixed to a giant dish with a thousand nuclear power plants below it, making it fully armed and possibly quite operational.
-Scientists suggest finding a superior power source for the sky satellite, as it cannot possibly operate efficiently on fusion power. It just isn't feasible or cost effective.

Grand Zelmizzen – Alice Der Dämonentöter
Tech: FTL, Kinetic Weaponry, Cybernetic Organics, Atmospheric Terraforming, Teleportation, Energy Shields, Cancer Cure, Fusion Power, World Ship, Emotional Ray

Richt
-The "Great Ship" is still under construction.
-A ray gun is being worked on which can radically alter the emotions of any being it is pointed it. Thank the stars that every sentient species out there has the same brain structure, or this would never work.
-A National Epic has been written. It is a long and winding tale of the many wonderful and great things that Grand Zelmizzen could have done, but did not, yet wishes it had, and subsequently lied about doing. The people love it and praise it for its historical accuracy.
-The stargate is secure.

Bine
-Attempts are made to colonize Waelas, but meets failure. The native Knights fend off the colonists. Heavier firepower will be required to remove them from the planet.

Let's all agree to never use time travel again.

Anyway, though, knowing where the Lob Star will be next turn gives us a solid chance of actually defeating it. I'll contact anyone whose help I need sooner or later.

whelp fuck attacking anyone, it just seems to end up badly, im just gonna isolate myself and build up my defenses to ridiculous levels hope you all have to best of luck with taking down the lob star

i've come to the realization that no matter what we do syndic isn't gonna let anyone beat the akash,
so might as well not try.

Way to go guys. This has become way more confusing than needed for a forum game, though I applaud the way it's written. All our efforts were in vain in trying to stop the Akash. Freakin time machine.

Now, what do?

Oh, and stealing tech is kinda still confusing. Basically you have a 77% chance to invent something by stealing it from another player? And this only takes 1 turn?

Last edited Aug 17, 2014 at 10:10PM EDT

Since when did the Terrans get into my system?!

AGH, I'm gonna destroy them! Who in their right Terran minds thought this was a good idea to settle in MY system?!

The Akash, through superior diplomacy and a show of strength, have convinced the humans that they would make better comrades than slaves, and have forged an alliance within the Terran Empire.

Mindless, soulless warcrabs hellbent on the destruction of the human race are now forming an alliance with the human race?

Why didn't you just have the crabs wig out and catapult themselves into the sun? It makes just as much sense.

Yes. That is exactly how it works.

@Taryn: You may consider this like a vassal relationship, much like French and Belgian soldiers fighting for Germans in WW2. Also,

"They naturally communicate easily with other species and even non-sentient beings, however, this is barely ever used to their advantage, as they tend to resolve things with violence instead of alliance."

I thought it would be good for them to us this ability at least once.

Oh no, not the lob star again, Get that stupid Closely related Nazi Super Weapon away from me!

Wait wiat, nevermind, where is the lobstar going? is it at Dipta? or at Titinia?

Last edited Aug 18, 2014 at 04:34AM EDT

I still don't get how the Terrans were even allowed into Kadreshan space at all, regardless of time travel retcon or what. No permission from us to settle and not even a notice of sudden settlement.
They should have been blown up the SECOND they entered the radar range of our sensors.

God, if in the next turn they don't leave I'm gonna blow up Selvas II and any habitable planet other than Destiny. I ain't having that shit.
This is some trespassing bullshit. They shouldn't even be entitled to that world.

@Mr.Stalker: Titania.

@A Furry: Selvas II was colonized on Turn 0, before you could even set up the minefield or take on this xenophobic attitude. You had no capability to halt the Terran colonization until the planet was already fully developed and surrounded with fleets. At this point, humanity feels as entitled to that world as you do, if not more so because they actually live on it. I wonder how exactly your gameplay might have changed over time if you started with such a powerful neighbor, but that is impossible to surmise on my own.

I was about one turn off of completing my ultimate goal on Earth which also doubled up as my entire races goal. But now I come back to find that due to fact that people keep screwing with time I've not only been completely ousted from the Sol system (and thus lost all pace in my mission) but the system has been fully occupied by an enemy force. You literally just dragged me back to square one and into this whole Akash ordeal, an issue I had no involvement with to begin with.

Not only has all this shit happened but the Lob Star, a thing we couldn't even dent, is now more armoured than before not that it had enough armour already and is four times the size….and is apart of an equally powerful and widespread alliance of races.

Timetravel:
>Made the Lob Star more OP
>Brought about a massive enemy faction
>Set me back 5 turns minimum

Man, you're getting assimilated after I'm done in Sol, Crona. You best start tech research on "Mega Lube"

@Snickerway

I agree, we should have some sort of meta-rule on timetravel, basically don't bother with it.

@Syndic,

Just like to state that me and Stalker have got an alliance thing going on, this means we buy each other drinks on Fridays and defend each others star fleets from alien attack

I think it's safe to assume that you'ld be isolated from the rest of the galaxy entirely.

@A Furry: Besides what the others have said, the destruction of a stargate would be a monumental task in and of itself. It is not a physical structure that can be dismantled or demolished. It is simply the open end of a wormhole. To destroy such a thing you would need research into the construction o powerful gravity wells, wormhole generation, or black hole creation, all three of which require huge amounts of power to make possible. It is very possible with the combined technologies of several players at the moment. Just remember that whatever you do to destroy the gate can be done in reverse to create a new one from the other side.

Is it possible to force your way into a closed system?
EDIT: Thanks, either answer works.

Do you mean closed as in the stargate has been destroyed? Or closed as in, they are not allowing visitors? In the first sense, yes. If you have the same technology used to destroy the stargate you can force one open from another location. In the second sense, also yes. If you have superior firepower you can force your way through any stargate.

I'm gonna do it. No one is allowed to leave or arrive after I get rid of that hellish creation!

Hahaha! HAHAHA!

@Syndic.

Actually I need a bit of elaboration on what you mean by "closed" when referring to stargates.

Do you mean closed as in it is impossible to be accessed from that direction?

Or closed as in, it can still be accessed but you will meet hostile forces if you do so

EDIT: Just saw your answer. So saying that a stargates is closed is more of a announcement if anything

Operation Blow Up the Lob Star is go. Everyone directly involved, do whatever you need to now. If you've got any questions, hit me up and we'll get something arranged.

As for everyone I didn't contact, we could probably use your help, too. If you can spare any forces, come attack the Lob Star with us in Titania next turn. We need all the help we can get.

Well folks, it has been fun, but I'm retiring from the game. I have a long trip to take and I won't be able to keep up with this.

(No, I'm not quitting just because I'm losing, GOSH!)

Anyway, carry on, all. If you care to destroy me, go ahead. Tesser can be an NPC now. Quite good, quite right…

Does this mean I'm not at war, since in this timeline I never attacked?

In this timeline everybody who attacked the Akash instead attacked the Terran Empire.

Just a heads up I’m going away on a trip for two days but I’ll bring my Ipad with me so if I have a chance to use it to continue on playing this that would be good. I just wanted to leave this message here encase I don’t respond for those two days. Yeah I know my chances of survival are slim to none but I still want to give you guys the news anyway.

Terran Empire – NPC
Tech: FTL, Plasma Weaponry, Atmospheric Terraforming, Energy Shielding, Genetic Engineering, Warp Drive, Dyson Swarm, Climate Control, Fusion Power, Kinetic Weaponry, Spice, The Lob-Star, Red Matter, Crabapults, Ship Pincers, Lattice Armor, Psychic Energy, Psybernetics, Cloaking, Artificial Intelligence, Temporal SMS, Time Travel, Viral Engineering

Sol
-The Chimerans arrive in force by surprise and destroy almost all of the Terran fleets in the system in a devastating battle. The Chimerans also take significant casualties due to superior Terran technology. Altogether the battle comes out as a stalemate.

Titania
-The Lob Star reaches the system and is almost instantly converged upon by enemy forces. Arcadians, Imperials, Romans, and Explodonations attack the battlestation relentlessly.
-Explodonations successfully teleport themselves into enough shield generator stations to critically damage the integrity of the Lob Star's shields. Rather than waste power keeping what few shields remained online, they are lowered and power is diverted to emergency response fleets and guns.
-Once the shields drop, Imperium fleets bombard the armor of the ship with turbolasers, punching holes through the surface in enough areas to make the ship vulnerable to a supernova originating from Titania. This has forces the Lob Star to abandon the launch of the red matter bomb and send out the fleets from their hangars to attack the enemy in conventional combat.
-Arcadian forces are the main obstacle in the battle, and many fleets are destroyed. The battle is slated largely in the enemy's favor, and few ships besides the Arcadians are destroyed. The Explodonations prove impossible to even visible affect, the Imperials maintain too significant of a distance to engage, and the Romans avoid combat altogether through the phase shifting of their fleet away from the battlefield.

Twintanirig – Honeytiger
Tech: FTL, Planetary EM Field, Climate Control, Atmospheric Terraforming, Viral Engineering, Cancer Bomb, Warp Drive, Orbital Drilling Laser, Weaponized Catnip

Barnard
-Eldinane is attacked and the attackers are promptly destroyed.

Bine
-Gay marriage is legalized. The Twinanirig do not understand the concept, and ignore the legislation.
-Weaponized catnip is completed, and just in time too. The Cattonians arrive and attack and are easily distracted by the drug, forcing them to abandon any prospect of landing on the surface.
-Caledonia XI's electromagnetic field is booted up and cranked up to eleven. This helps fend off the plasma weaponry of the Cattonians, which is being used in futility to bombard the surface of the planet.

Droresa – RocketPropelledPanda
Tech: FTL, Genetic Engineering, Spontaneous Organics, Alchemy, Warp Drive, Energy Redirection, Efficiency, Reactionary Defense, Light Absorbtion, Travel Disruption

Barnard
-Light absorption tech is now integrated into the planet.
-Tessa is latched onto and dragged into its grave. With the travel disruptor now within Eldinane, Droresa is able to deactivate it and move freely once again.
-The Twintanirig fleets are consumed, as are the Tessan fleets. Unfortunately, the Twinanirig ships were carrying deadly viruses and a cancer agent designed to infect Droresa, and now the planet is dying.
-The rest of the system is quickly consumed. Eldinane is reaching critical mass; if Droresa consumes another massive planet such as a gas giant the gravitational pressures at the core may create a fusion reaction, turning the planet into a small star.

Requiem – Mr.Stalker
Tech: FTL, Supreme Vodka, Leviathan, Dyson Swarm, Anti-Railgun Railguns, Flying Biospheres, Space Drill (1/2), Replicator, Supernova Research (1/3)

The Vlad
-The wods "Akashus eunt domus" are inscribed on a plaque which is left near the Vlad stargate.

Hydra
-The fleets are moved to Theyar from The Vlad.
-A space station is constructed in orbit of Theyar. It is being utilized as a processing station for refugees and patriots returning to Requiem to help the recovery of their people. Ruskies from across multiple star systems flock to Theyar and organize enough civilian ships to put together two new fleets.
-Researchers are investigating supernovas caused by Red Matter and what can be done to prevent them.

The Chimera – Laika
Tech: FTL, Atmospheric Terraforming, Mega EMP, Teleportation, Mega Shield, Super Death Cannon, Wormholes, Teleportation Jammers

Hydra
-Resources are donated to the Ruskies in orbit of Theyar.
-Teleportation jamming technology is ready for use.
-The Super Death Cannon receives an upgrade. After being towed into a stable orbit for construction, an armored shell is being built around it. It has been named the Daedalus.

Sol
-The Armada sallies forth through the wormhole into Sol. The assault is preceded by a Meda EMP detonation, disabling all ships near the stargate and making their destruction easy.
-Terran fleets gather from throughout the system and engage the Chimerans. The fighting is brutal and both sides lose a huge number of ships. Roughly seventy percent of the counterattack battle's casualties are Chimeran.

Arcadia – CrowTheMagician
Tech: FTL, Cloaking, Atmospheric Terraforming, Nanomanufacturing, Ion Weapons, Fusion Power, Psychic Energy, Tripods, A Single Vial of Red Matter, Spice Seeds, Warp Drive, City Ships (1/2), Time Travel

Titania
-Time travel technology is successfully stolen from Redmagus.
-Arcadia now controls the stargate here. The route to Dipta is closed down and guarded heavily.
-A drone ship is loaded up with a digital archive of everything related to Arcadia including its history, culture, and more. They launch it into their stargate without a destination, losing it to the far reaches of space. Their hope is that it will one day be found and Arcadia will live on on memory.
-Religious fervor on the homeworld is at an all time high as fear of the end of times approaches with the Lob Star entering the system. Shrines and temples are crowded with the suddenly devout who pray for their lives and preachers begin to emphasize old beliefs regarding reincarnation.
-The Lob Star arrives and is immediately engaged by Arcadian, Explodonation, Roman, and Imperium forces. Its shields are successfully disabled by the Explodonations, and the surface armor is bombarded by Imperium Star Destroyers. The battlestation does not attack Titania with a red matter bomb, and instead launches thousands of fighters and many larger ships.
-In the ensuing battle, Imperium ships bombarded from a great range and Roman ships teleported away from the fight while the Explodonations proved to be impossible to actually attack with conventional weaponry. Thus, only Arcadia took significant losses, with most of their ships engaged in close combat with the enemy. Many fleets were destroyed and the battle rages on all around the Lob Star.

Cattonia – Madcat
Tech: FTL, Plasma Weapons, Energy Shielding, Power Armor, Dyson Swarm, Fusion Power, EMP, Atmospheric Terraforming, Freeze Ray, Swarm Ships

Jubatus
-Swarm ships technology is complete.

Theren
-Scarnoc is invaded and the Scavenors are defeated. They prove to be quite tenacious, and a huge portion of the population of their sky cities are killed. One such city is scuttled by its denizens when they realize they have lost the defense, and it falls below the clouds to certain doom.

Teitia
-A mining colony is established on Teil. Besides the lack of an atmosphere, there is nothing standing in the way of the colony's development and colonists flock to the location.

Bine
-Fleets from Teitia are moved into Bine without issue and very easily dispatch the Twintanirig ships in orbit of Caledonia XI. Ground troops land on the surface and are overwhelmed by catnip, a drug specifically designed to effect them, which has been weaponized by the Twintanirig. To avoid further losses, an orbital bombardment is conducted, but the plasma weaponry of the Cattonian fleets is easily defused by the electromagnetic shielding of the planet's colonies. The planet seems to be impenetrable by Cattonian forces.

Cupitor – TripleA9000
Tech: FTL, Laser Weapons, Magnetic Weaponry, Fusion Power, Artificial Habitat, Energy Shields, Genesis Device, Weaponized Black Holes, Gundams, Quantum Entanglement Device (1/3)

Gigas
-An undisclosed location outside of the system is scoped out and established as an emergency evacuation location in the event of a system destroying catastrophe. Rare metals are mined from Onyx and Rubrum and kept in reserve for this purpose.
-Scientists begin to tamper with the laws of physics and experiment with the idea of changing them through hypothetical quantum entanglement devices.
-Infrastructural development on Rubrum receives a huge investment from the homeworld and the planet develops into one of the more powerful economies in the system.

Explodonatia – Snickerway
Tech: FTL, Space Flamethrowers, Super Lasers, Thermal Phylacteries, Time Displacement, Mind Control, Ice Breaker Gun, Time Travel, Phase Shifting

Enfer
-Phase shifting technology has been harnessed, allowing explodonations to rapidly teleport from one location to another over short distances.
-Face slapping achieved.

Titania
-The fleet from Nihilus travels through Sol to arrive at the Titania stargate, which is only made possible by the chaos which ensued during the Chimeran invasion of that system.
-The Lob Star arrives and is promptly bombarded with phase shifted Explodonations, who explode under the surface of the battlestation causing major damage. Mind control is utilized to read the thoughts of the crew to reveal weaknesses which can be attacked for greater effect. The ship's shields are inexplicably lowered, perhaps due to damage from the phase shift bombardment, and the hull is attacked with lasers and flamethrowers.
-Despite their vastly superior technology, the Terrans have found it nearly impossible to do any damage to the Explodonation ships due to their unique design and extreme heat.

Roma – Tchefuncte Bonaparte
Tech: FTL, Energy Shielding, Guns That Shoot Smaller Laser Guns, Teleportation, Hardcore Gravity, The Wheel, Phase Shifting, Molecular Disruption (1/3)

Apollo
-Scientists begin work in creating a device which destroys the bonds between atoms in a wide area which would transform a body of mass into a cloud of loose elements.
-The stargate is now under Roman control.
-Floating cities on Mare Infinitus stretch deep underwater, but as there is no ocean floor underneath them the investment seems to be without purpose.
-A fleet travels to Titania through the Sol system which is thankfully under siege at the moment. The small force is able to traverse the warzone and arrive safely at their destination without receiving much damage thanks also in part due to their teleportation systems.

Titania
-The Lob Star is attacked by the single Roman fleet in the area. The Romans are forced to make a hasty retreat, as no amount of phase shifting could prevent the amount of firepower being thrown at them from doing damage.

Redmagus – Sir Crona Statscowski
Tech: FTL, Psychic Energy, Fusion Power, Psybernetics, Cloaking, Artificial Intelligence, Temporal SMS, Time Travel, Viral Engineering, Time Travel Mk2 (1/2)

Enix
-The Redmagus leadership, unable to cope with their terrible decision making capabilities, commits psi-pukku by removing their own heads using mind powers.
-With no leadership left to control the Redmagus, the Terrans leap on the power vacuum and install a puppet regime which soon accepts confederation with the Terran Empire.
-The Terrans pilfer Terra for all of the Redmagus technological secrets and commandeer their ships for the war effort.

Kadresha – A Furry
Tech: FTL, Mining Lasers, Ion Cannons, Kinetic Weaponry, Drone Bombs, Artificial Intelligence, Deep Radar, Atmospheric Ignition Bomb, Automatic Sandwich Maker (1/2), Kibbles and Bits

Kellar
-The bomb is complete.
-The Terrans are warned that settlement in this system is illegal and that they are hereby evicted. The Terrans respond by pointing out the fact that they have lived here for 330 years and all of the original settlers have since died of old age. They number in the billions, consider themselves the natives of Selvas II, and refuse to leave.
-Two fleets are sent into orbit of Selvas II, repeating the eviction notice. The Terrans, fearful that their homes will be stripped from them, request reinforcements from Sol and begin constructing new warships.

The Imperium Collectives – GaryTheStoßtruppen
Tech: FTL, Lightsabers, Twin Ion Engines, Energy Shielding, Turbolasers, Sky Cities, AT-ATs, Power Armor (1/2), MegaTurboLasers, Sky Satellites, Dyson Swarm

Nihilus
-Dyson Swarm technology has been obtained through shady means.
-The industries of the empire are turned fully towards war production. New ships are being produced nearly daily.
-Conscription begins, and every able-bodied person who can be spared is sent to Hoth for military training. Jedi training is emphasized especially.
-Three fleets follow their Explodonation allies through Sol into Titania. A few ships are caught in the crossfire or are targeted by the Terrans as they pass through the system, but for the most part the fleets remain undamaged.

Titania
-The Lob Star is engaged. Once the battlestation's shields fall due to an Explodonation teleportation bombardment of the interior, Imperium Star Destroyers bombard the surface with turbolasers from a distance.

Grand Zelmizzen – Alice Der Dämonentöter
Tech: FTL, Kinetic Weaponry, Cybernetic Organics, Atmospheric Terraforming, Teleportation, Energy Shields, Cancer Cure, Fusion Power, World Ship, Emotional Ray, EMP Guns (1/3)

Richt
-Development begins on a weapon capable of firing directed EMP.
-The Andromeda ship is over halfway complete. A server is established on the ship to store all of the cultural information of the Zelmissen. Just in case.
-All available fleets are sent to Bine.

Bine
-Waelas is invaded by the combined forces of all Zelmissen fleets. This paves the way for safe landing by colonists. The moon is completely conquered.

NOW THAT MY BOMB IS COMPLETE, I WILL FORCIBLY DESTROY THE TERRANS AND ACQUIRE. COMPLETE. GALACTIC. SATURATION.

Commence evil maniacal laughter.
