Honorable Delegate of Saurias, I request reasoning behind your colonization of my territory. It would serve our interests best to avoid bloodshed and conflict. I hope we can maintain a peaceful relationship, and I urge you to be considerate of your next moves.

- The Imperium Collectives

I like how some users here are already jumping through the tech tree by having psychic energies and time displacement this early on. Speaking of tech is tech trade allowed in this game like in the previous one?

1. There was no delegate.
2. Honor is a shield for the weak.
3. I was there first dibs.
4. Didn't plan on any conflict.

Wow you really are a bummer. Just trying to have some fun. Very well, I'll let you settle the planet. Any further move and you will face consequences.

What your selling? Cause if it's good I might trade some of the Malkavian Diamonds that my race is mining out to you.

No thank you.

…As well as getting by the massive defense blockade I have set up. It's just for safety, I hope you understand. ~

I would like to announce my actions in turn 2 regarding suspense of Invasion by my planet. My planet will not be engaging in any conquest of War. My reasoning of my actions is to biuld a strong defense system against attacks of my own planet. During these first turns of the game I am just forming a strong and fearless military with the best technology in the universe. As for my planet, we would rather engage with words instead of guns, to form a better relation with worlds and galaxies far and wide. Our government encourages peaceful negotiations with each other instead of deadly warfare between sides in all of the universe. That is all.

Uh… So everyone has started discussing their plans for the game…
I'm gonna make dick shaped crop circles. Or not. I might just throw you all into the glorious black hole that is currently drinking my sun.
And speaking of black holes, how close could a ship that can travel faster than light be able to get to a black hole?

every black whole has an event horizon that determines how close you can get before the point of no return. the event horizon is where light can no longer escape.

but if a ship that travels faster than light were to enter the event horizon of a black hole I think you would be able to travel through as long as your ship can survive the extreme gravity.

it might also be possible to warp the space you're trying to go through, like in Star Trek for example. they warp through space all the time to get from one place to another at high speeds. it's sort of like if you were sitting at one side of your bed and your cat was siting at the other, then you pull your bed sheet towards you to bring your cat closer to you. the bed sheet is space, and the force of you pulling the bed sheet is the warp. but I think trying to warp through a black hole will need lots of extra force, or "arm power" for it to be possible for your people. and you might need the technology to harness the power of like 5 stars to do that lol

Since we're talking about going into a black hole I think this video will be relevant for this discussion.

five stars that sounds like type three civilization there, infact trying to go in and out of a black hole sounds like the thing only type three can do, that and type fours.

this is all theoretical, and this game is just some sci-fi fun ok
and i was joking about the 5 stars…

you could probably do it with one

All know that it's all theoretical and for fun but I just wanted to have an excuse to post more science related videos here like the last one that I posted.

I'm looking to terraform some worlds to make them more liveable. I'm willing to trade space with people. I'd like to place colonies on other people's planets and systems, and in return, you can live in parts of my system (Barnard).

Any takers?

lets become allies, my race has super-intelligence

Sounds good! We can set up better relations in the next turn.

I could become allies with you, but hopefully you can find out a way to find a radio frequency to communicate with us.

I think I'll hold off for now, if I do get some technology mentioned, I'll consider it then.

@Serious Business,

I'll contemplate your proposition, it sounds interesting

OOOOH REALLY

I HAVE A BIG GIANT SHIP OF MY OWN, JUST YOU WAIT.

Funny how just about everyone, myself included, is focusing on military or at least military tech. It's probably wise to develop a navy early on though, in case any tensions arise and we need to protect our soil.

I am writing Turn 3 now. I want to remind you all that any edits you make should conform to the method that I described in Turn 0: resend your entire turn with edits included. I should also add that technology trading is not allowed in this game considering how rapidly and easily you gain technologies already.

I guess that's fair wouldn't want one civ getting three tech in one turn due to trading with two others along with them researching one on their own turn.

Turn 3
Earth Year 2300
Deadline: 48 hours

Spider-Byte has retired.
Snickerway has been kicked for inactivity.

Star Systems

Apollo
Barnard
Bine
Dipta
Eldan
Enfer
Enix
Gigas
Hydra
Jubatus
Kellar
Nihilus
Richt
Sol
Sün
Taiyo
Teitia
The Vlad
Theren
Titania

United Earth – NPC
Tech: FTL, Atmospheric Terraforming, Dyson Swarm, Genetic Engineering
Sol
-The high pressure atmosphere of Venus has been bled out into space, allowing for easier human settlement on the surface.
-Mining stations are established upon the larger asteroid in the asteroid belt.
-Genetic engineering technology is developed.

Akash – Taryn
Tech: FTL, Ship Pincers, Lattice Armor
Dipta
-Mahan is completely tamed. As Akash settlement expands, local wildlife finds itself hard pressed to pose a further challenge, and the more violent kinds of animals are now either extinct or live in captivity.
-Jala is now also occupied in full.
-The Berbers of Guru are studied, although with extreme difficulty. Human slaves sent to do research are never heard from again, and Akash warrior tend to find it difficult to control their instincts when entering a Berber camp. However, due to their natural skill in communication, the Akash were able to glean a few bits of information about the natives: Berbers are humanoid with little difference between themselves and humans besides the fact that offspring between the two species is often sterile. They are not a spacefaring civilization. Berbers are often nomadic herdsmen, but some regions are permanently settled and have limited industrial technology. They are very hostile to the Akash, claiming that their crablike appearance and tendency to eat people is absolutely abhorrent.
-Molecular lattices are mastered. Resource efficient, lightweight armor becomes available for soldiers and spaceships.

Saurias – Cale
Tech: FTL, Nanomanufacturing, Climate Control, Fusion Power
Sün
-Fusion is successfully mastered, allowing Saurias to greatly expand their power infrastructure.
-Mining operations on Craec are established. In an effort to "crack" the planet, nuclear warheads are detonated deep below the surface.

Nihilus
-Bota Magna is settled. The native Botans, armed with spears and brute strength, assault Sauriad settlements constantly.
-Two fleets arrive at Demetre and launch a land invasion. An Imperium fleet in orbit of Hades engages the Sauriads, slowing the landing process and complicating invasion plans, but doing little actual damage to the fleets.

Twintanirig – Honeytiger
Tech: FTL, Planetary EM Field, Climate Control, Atmospheric Terraforming
Teitia
-Atmospheric Terraforming technology is developed.
-The frozen moon of Tano is settled.
-The fleet can barely be sustained as it grows wildly out of proportions. The Tympton global economy crashes, and tax evasion is at an all time high.

Droresa – RocketPropelledPanda
Tech: FTL, Genetic Engineering, Spontaneous Organics
Eldan
-

Requiem – Mr.Stalker
Tech: FTL, Supreme Vodka, Leviathan, Dyson Swarm
The Vlad
-Requiem has no fleets, and therefor cannot mount any interstellar counterattacks.
-Land based counterattacks on Vietnam successfully drive the invaders off the surface of the planet. Orbital bombardment is conducted by the Chimerans, obliterating huge swaths of above-ground infrastructure, driving many to live in caves and dangerous calderas.
-Hammer is seized by Chimerans.
-Energy collection satellites are launched into orbit around The Vlad. This technology is called a Dyson Swarm, and it has revolutionized the energy sector on Sickle and Kin.

The Chimera – Laika
Tech: FTL, Atmospheric Terraforming, Mega EMP
Hydra
-Mega EMP technology is developed. Essentially a giant flash-bang grenade, these bombs can be used to disable an entire planet's electrical grid.
-Sensors stations are scattered in orbit around Hydra, supplementing the minefield with guidance.
The Vlad
-The land forces on Vietnam are exterminated by Ruskie counterattack. The extreme geothermal heat of the planet's surface severely weakened the Chimeran foot soldiers.
-The fleet it orbit of Vietnam conducts a devastating bombardment of the planet's surface, leaving population centers in ruins.
-Atmospheric terraforming machines left on the surface of Vietnam did little to change the planet's temperature considering the fact that it comes from geothermal heat, not a greenhouse effect trapping solar heat.
-Hammer is invaded with very little opposition. The colonial outposts located on the surface are overrun.

Ashitaka Empire – Fridge Logic
Tech: FTL, Atmospheric Terraforming, Genetic Engineering
Taiyo
-A diplomatic envoy is sent to Sol. The United Earth delegates welcome them. Friendly contact with the Humans of UE is established.
-Kinetic weaponry technology is created, allowing for projectiles to be shot through space at alarming speeds, devastating anything they touch.
-The imperial court relocates to Oshii and the massive observatory there is converted into a diamond palace. The planet is quickly transformed into one of the most heavily fortified planets in the galaxy.
-Uranium mines on Otomo are out-produced by the mines of Yuasa. Regardless, the Ashitaka Empire's nuclear arsenal is growing rapidly.
-Eboshi's atmosphere is altered to become more friendly to Yakkul settlers. The Ammonia is condensed into liquid form and then shipped off-world for industrial use. The atmosphere is steadily depressurized and as it is water from the surface evaporates until dry land becomes available for building foundations.

Arcadia – CrowTheMagician
Tech: FTL, Cloaking, Atmospheric Terraforming, Nanomanufacturing
Titania
-Nanotechnology is now being used in the industrial sector, allowing for faster production of detailed designs.
-Arcology projects are begun all over Camarilla. As the Arcadian population becomes denser land is freed up for nature reserves, mining, manufacturing, and farming.
-A colony is established on Lasombra.
-An elevator is constructed on Malkav and space habitats are constructed around Anarch.
-Drones scout the planet Muspelheim for viable settlement locations. Many protected regions are found with stable foundations free of volcanic and seismic threats.

Cattonia – Madcat
Tech: FTL, Plasma Weapons, Energy Shielding, Power Armor
Jubatus
-Power armor is developed, strengthening soldiers in combat by giving them access to excessive protection and physical strength. A cat theme is added to the armor with the inclusion of claws and cute ears.
Nihilus
-A fleet is sent to invade Demetre. Landing is successful, but an Imperial fleet in orbit is complicating the process.
Theren
-A fleet is sent to Galopia to engage in cat talks. The locals explain that they have no idea how they ended up on this side of the star group, but they have been settled here for thousands of years. Biologically they are nearly the same as Cattonians, suggesting that Cattonians were abducted by aliens several millenia ago or successfully developed and then lost the ability of interstellar space travel.
-Attempts to colonize Aard end in disaster. The planet is already fully occupied by a spacefaring race of humanoids. The colonists, armed with mining equipment and ready to settle in new lands, are captured and sent back to their ships. Aardic diplomacy prevails, and war is averted.

Axius – unusedusername
Tech: FTFTL, Genetic Engineering, Time Displacement
Theren
-Faster than light? Who needs it. Alrax scientists improve on FTL technology to make FTFTL (Faster Than Faster Than Light) to travel even faster than ever before. Gotta go fast.
-A new fleet of Heavy Defenders is constructed and outfitted with a group of Scout Troopers.
-Uranium trading is made with Aard. Fission reactors are appearing all over Axius to power nearly the entirety of their infrastructure, including time displacement machines.
-A commission of bureaucrats is put together to oversee the regulation of time displacement technology. They are called the Time Lords.

Cupitor – TripleA9000
Tech: FTL, Laser Weapons, Magnetic Weaponry
Gigas
-Super powered magnets are applied to weaponry. These new "magnet guns" manipulate electromagnetic fields to push about metallic objects, including spaceships, and fry electrical systems. They also make railguns much more powerful.
-An anti-spaceship defense grid is constructed upon the surface of Onyx. It is made up of massive laser guns and railguns. The low gravity and absence of an atmosphere makes these weapons a very feasible defense, even when fired from the planet's surface.
-A settlement is established upon Albas. The only easily accessible resource is water. Even the power to melt ice is difficult, as Gigas is so far away that solar power generation is next to impossible. Nearly everything needs to be imported, making life in the settlement difficult.

Tesser – Serious Business
Tech: FTL, Swarm Ships, Atmospheric Terraforming
Barnard
-Atmospheric terraforming technology is developed for use in the transformation of atmospheres into something more breathable.
-Hydrogen mining has begun on Ronaldo. The population of the mining stations expand steadily, and most colonists on their way to Hubert, Dewford, or Louis now stop at a Ronaldo station first. Hydrogen exports to these moons is helping their development significantly.

Roma – Tchefuncte Bonaparte
Tech: FTL, Energy Shielding, Guns That Shoot Smaller Laser Guns, Teleportation
Apollo
-Teleportation technology is developed, which has the possibility to help with the movement of soldiers and supplies rapidly from one location to another within relatively short range.
-Orbital bombardment and air support aids in the invasion of Gallia significantly. The French defense is finally broken by it, and Roman soldiers swarm across the planet, occupying all major cities.
-An orbital defense system is constructed around Roma and Rema.

Redmagus – Sir Crona Statscowski
Tech: FTL, Psychic Energy, Fusion Power
Enix
-Surface-to-orbit railguns are built to defend the colonies.
-Fusion technology is successfully developed. A fusion bomb is detonated in orbit of Garland as a first, successful test. Fusion powered reactors are now possible, ushering in a new era of power for Redmagus.
-One tech per turn bud.

Kadresha – A Furry
Tech: FTL, Mining Lasers, Ion Cannons, Kinetic Weaponry
Kellar
-Kinetic weaponry is developed, giving a wide range of railgun related options for planetary defense, as well as powerful offensive weapons for fleets.
-The capital city on destiny is surrounded with defenses, including a very impressive concrete wall.
-Two new divisions of troops are created for the fleet: marines and mechs. The Marines are trained in the commandeering of ships, being given a wide variety of manuals for various known ship designs. The mechs are armed to the teeth with weapons and defended by thick, heavy armor. These units are given their own new fleet.
-The issue of radiation is disturbing colonists on Selvas I, whose lifespans are worryingly short.

The Imperium Collectives – GaryTheStoßtruppen
Tech: FTL, Lightsabers, Twin Ion Engines, Energy Shielding
Nihilus
-Two Sauriad fleets and a Cattonian fleet arrive at Demetre and begin a land invasion. The presence of an Imperial fleet from Hades has stalled their progress, although not by much. Imperial ships are outnumbered by far, and utilize their superior speed to avoid direct combat.
-Colonists land on Tatooine and establish a few major settlements there.
-Military training operations are largely moved to Hoth.
-Energy based deflector shields are developed.

Grand Zelmizzen – Richter von Zelmisburg
Tech: FTL, Kinetic Weaponry, Cybernetic Organics, Atmospheric Terraforming
Richt
-Atmospheric terraforming technology is developed.
-Colonies are established on Zelmoon and Kelmania.
-A selective breeding program is initiated on Zelmisburg I to promote physical strength in Zelmissen living there.
Bine
-A fleet is sent to colonize Hibernia IV. The planet is friendly to settlement, but the natives are not. Fortunately, the jungle people are very flammable. Napalm and flamethrower sales go through the roof. Planetary genocide is quickly achieved, and the jungle people are no more. You heartless bastard.

I made some shit moves in that turn.

1. I pressed on with the attack on Vietnam whereas I should have retreated to orbit

2. I tried to terraform a volcanically active planet

It gave me a giggle watching everyone build defences though, some paranoia going down in this galaxy that's for sure

I came out to have a good time and I'm honestly feeling so attacked right now.

Nevermind that. Do not underestimate the power of the force and the dark side.

Would you like an alliance? I'm not asking for you to aid me in my conflict, but if I can overcome this, in the future we can work together.

Alright! Sounds good, I'll interact with you on the next turn if possible. I look forward to our newfound alliance.

And I'll pay you back, such as any of my resources or even a defensive fleet to help guard your system.

Still, didn't see Cale and madcat coming…

Dear esteemed leaders of Saurias and Cattonia,

It would serve our nations best to avoid conflict. I ask you both to remove your fleets from my moon of Demetre. I offer you both property of Auqa Magna, Bota Magna, Bara Magna, and Hakann, as well as trade opportunities. Consider your choices carefully, and as Sun Tzu stated, "There is no instance of a nation benefitting from prolonged warfare." If you continue to assault my prior peaceful nation, consequences will be delivered via force and the will of our navy.
