Black Leon Kennedy and Ada Wong Cosplays refer to fan art and discourse inspired by TikToker @mythix.v7's raceswapped cosplay of Leon Kennedy and TikToker @filthydinosaur's cosplay of Ada Wong, both characters from he video game franchise Resident Evil. In early November 2025, X user @maybemoodz reposted a clip from @mythix.v7's Leon Kennedy cosplay, calling him "Leon N. Kennedy" in a racially charged tweet. The tweet prompted a wave of posts in support of @mythix.v7, as well as fan art that used him as inspiration for artwork that depicts Leon Kennedy as darker-skinned.

The events also led to internet users finding Black TikToker @filthydinosaur's cosplay content as a dark-skinned Ada Wong from the same video game franchise. Artists then began posting fan art depicting both @Mythixv7 and @filthydinosaurs as Black Leon Kennedy and Black Ada Wong.

On October 13th, 2025, TikToker^[1] @mythix.v7 posted a video cosplaying as Leon Kennedy from the video game franchise Resident Evil, gathering over 300,000 views and 40,000 likes in a month.

On November 6th, 2025, X^[2] user @maybemoodz reposted a screenshot from TikToker @mythix.v7's Resident Evil cosplay, writing, "Leon N. Kennedy," and gathering an unknown number of likes before deleting the post.

X^[3] user @whimsycal_ quoted the post on November 7th, writing, "the cosplay is so tea I almost liked a hate tweet," gathering over 200,000 likes in two days.

Later on November 7th, 2025, TikToker @mythix.v7 posted the Leon Kennedy cosplay on his new X^[4] account @Mythixv7, gathering over 2 million views and 160,000 likes in two days.

For instance, on November 8th, 2025, X^[5] user @bubblypinkfreak posted fan art inspired by TikToker @mythix.v7's cosplay, depicting a race-swapped Black Leon Kennedy from the Resident Evil video game franchise. The post gathered over 60,000 likes in a day.

That same day, X^[11] user @zombiyh posted fan art inspired by the aforementioned cosplay video, writing, "couldn't pass up on your ada cosplay too, you're so pretty," and gathering over 26,000 likes in a day.

Also on November 8th, 2025, X^[10] user @jill___ae posted cosplay artists @mythix.v7 and @JaharaJayde's Leon Kennedy and Ada Wong costumes, gathering over 19,000 likes in a day.
