Can You Finish My Food Trend, also known as Can You Finish My Food Pig or I Can't Finish My Food, Do You Want The Rest?, refers to a TikTok trend in which two people, usually a couple, are shown eating at a restaurant, with one sliding their food to their partner and using the catchphrase, "Can you finish my food?" before cutting to the second person mimicking a video of a pig that appears to be smirking or smiling. The grinning pig meme and the trend emerged in late 2025, spreading into 2026.

Origin

It is unknown when the original smirking pig video was uploaded, though it entered use as a GIF sometime around mid-to-late 2025. On August 8th, 2025, Tenor^[1] user sherwood_alex uploaded the GIF of the large pink pig grinning, titled "Cheeky Pig Smirk GIF."

On November 15th, 2025, TikTok^[2] user @odyglen used the smirking pig video for a humorous video about finishing a significant other's food, which received over 5.9 million views and 545,900 likes in about six months.

On December 28th, 2025, TikTok^[3] user @sa.grass uploaded a similar video to TikTok user @odyglen, garnering over 480,600 views and 77,100 likes in roughly five months.

On January 6th, 2026, TikTok^[4] user @jakefsf2002 posted a video in accordance with the trend, which received over 10.8 million views and 1.5 million likes in a bit over five months.

On April 25th, 2026, TikTok^[5] user @tj.visker posted a similar video according to the trend's template, which received over 11.7 million views and 1.6 million likes in less than one month.
