Fases e Fases Velocity Template is the name of a CapCut Video Template that has become popular on TikTok. The filter, which creates an after-image of a foreground image and makes it appear in the background before reconnecting with the original, is often paired with different types of music to create a Thirst Trap or Fancam reaction.
Origin
On July 5th, 2023, the CapCut user Abel[1] uploaded the template to CapCut. The template was later uploaded to TikTok with the original song Fases e Fases being used as the background by TikToker CapCutModelos[2] on July 13th, 2023, helping to spread the template on the website (shown below).

The filter was later re-uploaded to TikTok using audio from the song Heartburn by TikToker fym3021[3] on July 24th, 2023, where it gained over 565,000 likes and popularized the combination of the template with this specific song (shown below).

The filter quickly picked up usage with people noting that it Goes Hard especially when used with Heartburn, as shown by the TikToker yungalyy[4] on July 29th, 2023 in a TikTok that received over 768,000 likes in four months (shown below).
