About

Mister Bombastic, Bomba Fantastic, also written Mr. Bombastic, Bomba Fantastic, refers to song lyrics from Misha Xramovi's "Gaichite" that became associated with a TikTok trend and CapCut template in early 2023 in which a broken heart emoji (💔) video contrasted a mending heart emoji (❤️‍🩹) video which represented what would fix the broken heart of the video creator caused by the first video. The trend was ultimately unserious, however, as most of the videos were nonsensical and satirical, mainly parodying sigma male edits and hustle culture memes.

Origin

On January 20th, 2023, TikToker[1] mamura.w219 posted a video that first showed a BMW car with a broken heart emoji followed by a photo of an attractive woman with the mending heart emoji, representing the fixing of their broken heart. The video used a CapCut template called "#Heart Trend," created by TikToker[2] lunahestiatemplate. Additionally, the video used the song "Gaichite" by Misha Xramovi[3] which had the primary lyrics, "Mister Bombastic, Bomba Fantastic." Over the course of three weeks, the video received roughly 867,000 plays and 57,700 likes (shown below).

The sound was used by more car-centric TikTokers[4][5] leading up to January 23rd, 2023, when TikToker[6] lvp_the4th used the sound and CapCut template, first showing e-girls taking a mirror selfie video and then showing army men in the back of a combat vehicle. Over the course of 18 days, the TikTok received roughly 1.4 million plays and 152,000 likes (shown below).
