Elon Musk and Barron Trump Reaction refers to a video of entrepreneur Elon Musk and Donald Trump's son Barron Trump in which the two display drastically different reactions, with Musk being overly excited and Trump acting reserved. Taken at Donald Trump's inauguration ceremony, the video achieved virality as a video and GIF caption meme format in late January 2025.

On January 20th, 2025, during his inauguration speech, Donald Trump talked about the United States' goal to put its astronauts and its flag on the planet Mars.[1] Entrepreneur Elon Musk, whose long-term has been a human mission to Mars, reacted to the mention of the planet with elation, smiling and showing a thumbs up to the camera, while Donald Trump's son Barron, standing next to him, had a reserved reaction (full speech video shown below; 24:55 mark).

Notably, Elon Musk and Barron Trump did not stand next to each other at the ceremony, as they were separated by another guest, although the camera perspective obscures this.
On that day, X[2][3] users @Acyn and @cb_doge were the first to share Musk's reaction on the platform, with their posts garnering over 1 million views and 2.2 million views, respectively, in three days (upload by @cb_doge) shown below.
