Overview
No Jumper Going Broke and the Yuriy and Rylee Lawsuit refer to the announcement that the No Jumper podcast network is going broke for several reasons, including a wrongful termination lawsuit being filed against the founder, Adam22, by former co-hosts Yuriy Alymbayev and Rylee Garcia. It has also been speculated that he is being sued by rapper Dejon Paul after his security shot him, but this is unconfirmed. Adam22 posted a video announcing that he was enacting layoffs and looking to sell the No Jumper studio to keep the company going on April 2nd, 2025. The announcement inspired viral discourse and reactions online in early April 2025.
Background
Yuriy & Rylee Lawsuit
On January 15th, 2025, Rylee Garcia and Yuriy Alymbayev, two former No Jumper employees, filed a lawsuit against No Jumper LLC, Adam22 and two other No Jumper employees, Josh Manheim and Nicholas Hyams, over claims of wrongful termination. The filing was made available on Unicourt.[1] The lawsuit claims that there were "acts of discrimination, harassment and retaliation" taken against them during their time at No Jumper.[2]
On January 28th, Adam22 spoke about the lawsuit on an episode of the No Jumper podcast, which was clipped for the No Jumper Clips YouTube[3] channel that day, garnering over 36,000 views in three months. In the video, he claims that the lawsuit is frivolous and that most of the stuff they're claiming as harassment in the lawsuit happened after they were already gone. Adam22 also claims that he was let go as an editor for being bad at his job but that no wrongful termination took place.
"No Jumper Is Going Broke"
On April 2nd, 2025, a video titled "No Jumper Is Going Broke" was uploaded to the No Jumper YouTube[4] channel, garnering over 110,000 views in a day. In the video, Adam22 announces that No Jumper is going broke, claiming they expanded too much during COVID-19. They bought a $4 million studio, thinking their growth would keep skyrocketing, but it didn't. He explains that losing eight hosts in March 2023 hurt the business too, showing a clip of the Lil House phone fight.
Adam22 says they were still profitable after all this, but then they lost the No Jumper Instagram account without any warning or reason. He explains that they were making a "solid amount of cash" from sponsored posts on the account. Adam22 then explains that they were hit with a "bullshit lawsuit" from a former employee. He claims it's "basically an extortion attempt." Adam22 then claims they've made layoffs, closed their store on Melrose and are looking to sell the current studio to keep the company afloat. He says he's happy about some of the changes and that he should have kept his overhead smaller.
Adam22 clears up that he is not going broke, but the company, No Jumper, is. He ends the video by encouraging viewers to support the company in a variety of ways.
