The Stare refers to the illustration of Fluttershy from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic staring at the viewer while frowning, illustrated by Kjara-draws.
The illustration got popularized as a reaction image towards expressing anger of certain subject matter/situation.
Origin
On August 6, 2012, Kjara-draws uploaded a grayscale version of the illustration on DeviantArt titled "The Stare".
Over 3 days, on August 9, 2012, they uploaded a colored version of the illustration by request to make a colored version.
