About
My Daily Schedule: 1pm – Wake Up is an exploitable meme template most often with a pink background that lists an imagined schedule in which the meme's creator wakes up at 1 p.m., does something every hour ("2pm, 3pm, 4pm," etc.) and then falls asleep or says "Good Night" at 3 a.m., portraying an objectively bad sleep schedule. Meme creators most often insert a memetic reaction image to cover all of the times besides the first and last or insert one catchphrase for all the intermittent times like "think about u," among others. The template became notable on Instagram and Twitter in the early 2020s.
Origin
The earliest known post using the "My Daily Schedule" template is a November 20th, 2020, post made by iFunny user staking_memegodkyle_2020, an account that appears to have been reposting memes made by a Snapchat user by the name of "memegodkyle."[1] The post showed a version of the meme in which the daily activities listed the word "why."[2] The post gathered no smiles or comments in over two years (seen below, left). On December 2nd, the same user posted another meme[3] using the same format, gathering no reactions as well (seen below, right).
