Kehlani Starbucks Controversy
On July 13th, 2022, Walker posted an Instagram Story where he confronts a person sitting in the Starbucks drive-thru line for "warning" the baristas about him. The driver is revealed to be R&B artist Kehlani, who can be seen smiling as Walker says “Ma’am, you don’t need to tell baristas I’m an asshole because I have an opinion.” Walker also posted a story where he talks about listening to Kehlani the day before this incident, saying, “Sistah girl didn’t know who she was dealing with,” and, “Don’t let the Givenchy and smile fool you, I will get out of the car.” The video of the incident was also uploaded to Walker's Twitter[3], where it gathered over 8,000 likes in three months (seen below).
This mediocre singer that everyone’s forgotten about, Kehlani, told my baristas at Starbucks that I was an “a**hole” and to be “safe around me.” Well, I set her straight.
I’m tired of these fake woke people being rude to everyone and acting like they’re the good ones. pic.twitter.com/V6X88Wg8tX— Christian Walker (@ChristianWalk1r) July 13, 2022
Herschel Walker 2022 Georgia State Senate Campaign
In an Instagram[4] post dated August 25th, 2021, Christian Walker announced his support for his father Herschel Walker's Georgia Senate Campaign. The post has gathered over 100,000 likes in over a year (seen below).
Walker continued to support his father, speaking at a campaign event on December 2nd, 2021, and posting a picture posing with Donald Trump. The post[5] gathered over 110,000 likes in nearly 11 months (seen below).
On October 3rd, 2022, Walker then broke off his endorsement of his father and made a series of tweets[6] outlining Herschel Walker's alleged history of abuse towards Christian's mother, Cindy DeAngelis Grossman. In a tweet that has gathered over 100,000 likes in three days since its upload, Walker says, "Every family member of Herschel Walker asked him not to run for office" (seen below).
Christian went on to make a video response addressing his reasoning behind backing out of his support for his father, citing a pattern of purported lying, deception and abuse on Herschel Walker's part. Christian also emphasizes his belief in traditional family values and says that Herschel epitomizes the "absentee father trope" Christian has historically denounced. The video gathered over 80,000 likes on Twitter[7] and 40,000 likes on Instagram in four days (seen below).
I’ve stayed silent for nearly two years as my whole life has been lied about publicly. I did ONE campaign event, then said I didn’t want involvement.
