Tom Pearl, full name Thomas Patrick Pearl, also known online as Toiletmouth, is an American fetish pornography content creator known for his scat content, including a viral video of him eating his own feces. In 2002, Pearl was placed on the sex offenders registry for possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Pearl has been the subject of death hoaxes throughout the 2000s, but was purportedly confirmed to be alive in 2025, when a new mugshot was taken.
Throughout early 2026, Tom Pearl became the subject of ironic memes and brainrot memes, largely on TikTok. These memes often use clips from Pearl's scat videos and pair him with popular phonk remixes and brinarot characters, including Tom from Tom & Jerry. Some memes depict Pearl as the Silver Surfer.
History
Tom Pearl was born on March 23rd, 1959. On May 10th, 2002, he was placed on the sexual offenders registry for possession of CSAM.[1] Purportedly, his internet usage and history has been monitored by authorities since.
Starting as early as 2017, Pearl began posting scat fetish content on numerous pornographic sites, including a site called MuchoZucko. His pages have since been removed, but archives exist on his fansite, tompearl.com,[2] which includes some unverified biographical information about Pearl. The site also sells merchandise.
Some of Pearl's most well-known content includes videos of him purportedly eating and drinking his own feces, including a video where he eats his feces out of a hot dog bun.
In 2025, a new mugshot of Pearl was purportedly taken and made available on the Offender Radar[3] website. Some people believed he had died before the new mugshot was made available.
In January 2026, Pearl became the subject of a death hoax. For example, on January 29th, 2026, TikToker[7] @turnipmunch posted a video purportedly showing his obituary, gaining over 500,000 views in four months.

Throughout the first half of 2026, Tom Pearl became the increasing subject of memes, most notably on TikTok. These memes are largely ironic.
One of the earliest known memes to popularize Pearl as a meme character was posted on May 13th, 2026 by TikToker[4] @frnc.cc2, garnering over 1.4 million views in about a week. The meme features several edits of Pearl, using an image taken from a video of him eating diarrhea, covered in silver and bronze.

On May 17th, TikToker[5] @gristymancers posted an edited image that compares silver Tom Pearl to an image of Tom from Tom and Jerry, a silver mannequin and the Silver Surfer, gaining over 750,000 views in five days. The meme is set to "Yara Yara Phonk," a staple of many Tom Pearl memes.
On May 21st, X[6] user @lolit_speed posted an AI-generated meme where some teens eat a "limited edition Tom Pearl Kik snack," which is meant to resemble feces, garnering over 1,500 likes and 33,000 views in a day.
