Peter Griffin in a Dog House Redraws refers to a redraw trend based on an image of Peter Griffin from Family Guy laying in a dog house with a sad expression on his face. The scene comes from an October 2021 episode of the show and became the subject of redraws in December 2023 when a screenshot of it was posted to X (Twitter), with the poster encouraging artists to redraw it.
Origin
On October 17th, 2021, Season 20 Episode 4 of Family Guy, titled "'80s Guy," aired. In one scene, Lois kicks Peter out of the house, treating him like a dog. Peter scratches at the door to come back in but she doesn't open it, so he crawls to a dog house and lays down in it, upset. The scene was uploaded to YouTube[1] that day, garnering over 900,000 views in two years (shown below).
On December 16th, 2023, X[2] user @roromiie206 posted a screenshot from the scene, writing, "new art prompt draw your favs as this," garnering over 25,000 likes and 4,500 reposts in four days (shown below).

The X post inspired numerous redraws of the scene over the following days. On December 18th, 2023, X[3] user @sixtooth06 posted a Pomni redraw of the scene, garnering over 12,000 likes in two days (shown below, left). On December 19th, X[4] user @Forest_Draw posted a Kirby redraw that gained over 7,200 likes in a day (shown below, right).
On December 20th, X[5] user @1993Bros posted a Sonic the Hedgehog redraw of the scene, garnering over 7,000 likes in under a day (shown below).
