The post (shown below) features the singer wrapped in a blanket while she is staring off into the distance, which garnered over 110 million views and 90,700 likes in three days.

Quickly after the image was posted to Twitter, other users began pairing it with various captions depicting Selena in random situations. For example, on August 14th, 2023, Twitter^[2] user @imthebrownboy reposted the picture adding the caption "Mom’s on Christmas morning watching their kids opening gifts they told them they weren’t getting." The post (shown below, left) received over 2.9 million views and 85,300 likes in a day.

On the same day, Twitter^[3] user @kevormez reposted the image with the caption "Me after letting a minor situation ruin my whole mood and go silent for an hour." The post (shown below, right) garnered roughly 1 million views and 26,800 likes in a day.
