About

Share a Piece of Lore About Yourself is an X / Twitter post trend encouraging users to share pieces of lore about themselves or another topic, using a meme of a stick figure leaning over a computer with their head in their hands. The trend was started as early as March 2024 and went viral in April 2025 with a post by X user @frozenaesthetic that garnered over 200,000 reposts and 1.2 billion views in three months. It was further popularized in July 2025 as X users posted new versions of the trend, often with photoshopped images of the stick figure relating to the given topic. The trend spread to sites including Threads, Reddit and Facebook that same month.

Origin

The exact origin of the stick figure leaning over a computer is unclear. One of the earliest examples is a series of edits posted by Tumblr[1] user mvmmoney on April 22nd, 2021, that gained about 50 notes in four years.
