The Original Starwalker is an obscure character from the 2018 videogame title Deltarune. The character's catchphrase, "I Will Also Join", has led to series of edits which place him in other games.

Origin

The Original Starwalker first appears in a specific area in the first chapter of Deltarune, which released on October 31st, 2018. In the forest area where you encounter the Starwalker Bird and ring the bell, you can walk back to the left of that area to find The Original Starwalker. Upon finding him, he will reappear in future Deltarune chapters.

In Deltarune: Chapter 2, if you found The Original Starwalker in Chapter 1, when you first leave the dark castle Lancer and Rouxls Kaard will enter your inventory as key items, and The Original Starwalker will also enter your inventory after saying "I will also join".

A trend started on Twitter / X on July 31st, 2026, when BlizzardCroco posted an edited screenshot from the Super NES game Earthbound which adds The Original Starwalker and his catchphrase "I will also join". The post received over 1.5 million views and over 20,000 likes in two days.
