About
Mike is a character speculated to be the antagonist of Deltarune: Chapter 3. The fan speculation has led to a massive amount of fan art showing depictions of what Mike would look like in-game, as well as fan videos and music. The character is often depicted as a TV show host with a television for a head.
Origin
While the character has yet to be physically shown in the game, a character named Mike was mentioned by Spamton several times during the events of Deltarune: Chapter 2 (shown below).
At the end of Deltarune: Chapter 2, Kris opens a dark portal in Torie's living room. The last image before the credits is television static that eventually forms into a grin (shown below).
On September 15th, 2022, Toby Fox made a teaser update, which included screenshots, video, and music from upcoming Deltarune chapters. One screenshot included an area called "Green Room" which houses two television sets (shown below) that led to further speculation that Mike would make an appearance in the next chapter.
Spread
On October 22nd, 2021, YouTube user Mr. Luwigi posted a video featuring Mike and Kris in a fake leak of Deltarune: Chapter 3. The video (shown below) received over 730,000 views in over ten months.
On March 26th, 2022, Game Jolt user Sad Bread posted a Deltarune fangame titled Mike's Big Showdown[1] in which Kris battles against Mike. On March 27th, 2022, a video of the fangame was posted to YouTube by Akt ATK which received over 363,000 views over five months.
