Tasque Manager is a character found in Deltarune: Chapter 2 created by Toby Fox. The character was released with the chapter two expansion on September 17th, 2021, and was an immediate fan favorite, being used as an exploitable in various memes or recreated in numerous fan art depictions.

Origin

On September 17th, 2021, Undertale creator Toby Fox released the second chapter of Deltarune, debuting Tasque Manager for the first time. Within the game's story, Tasque Manager is a character that is the polar opposite of the game's chapter 1 secret boss, Jevil. This can be seen in the way the two characters are presented, being physically opposite from each other in appearance, but also through Tasque Manager's repeated use of the word "order" contrasted to Jevil's use of "chaos," as well as Tasque Manager's data that overtly states a hatred for clowns (which Jevil is). Tasque Manager is found within the Queen's mansion, where several unique and differing interactions can happen based on player choices.

One of the first memes to use Tasque Manager in a non-lewd or fan art depiction was posted to Twitter by user D_vaaaah,^[1] on September 19th, 2021, earning 571 likes.

From there, further memes using the character were made and uploaded to iFunny. Another example to use Tasque Manager in a meme format was uploaded to iFunny^[2] on September 21st, 2021, this time using the Marge Simpsons Neat Potato format (shown below), receiving just 14 likes in three days.

On September 23rd, Redditor u/falgaia posted a Phoenix Wright parody^[3] image, having Tasque Manager acting as a prosecutor to the /r/Deltarune^[4] subreddit, earning 1,500 upvotes in one day (shown below).
