You Still Ate That Lil One Thing refers to a catchphrase and sound clip often used on TikTok. The phrase comes from a 2022 TikTok LIVE hosted by Queen Opp and Michelle, TikTokers based out of Philadelphia. In an undated TikTok live stream in late 2022, Queen Opp can be heard saying, "You not that girl or nothing but… you still ate that one, that little one thing." The catchphrase became a viral internet sound in 2023.
Origin
Sometime in late 2022, TikToker[1] Queen Opp hosted a live stream alongside a TikToker known as Michelle, saying the phrase, "You not that girl or nothing but… you still ate that one, that little one thing." Reuploads of the live stream were posted by TikTokers @prehistoric7[2] and @queenopplive[3] on November 24th, 2022, and December 16th, 2022 (seen below). The audio from both these videos was used to create TikTok videos in subsequent months.

Some early TikTokers that used the sound and catchphrase to viral effect were @itsnicoleem_[4] and @leilanicapalot_,[5] gathering 3 million (seen below, left) and 13 million (seen below, right) plays on TikToks posted on March 23rd and March 24th respectively.

On February 18th, 2023, X[6] user @TEXASTITTIE made a post using the catchphrase, gathering over 10,000 likes in seven months (seen below, left). X user @libradivabria posted a (since-inaccessible tweet using the catchphrase, and was reposted by Instagram[7] page @3.1415926535897932384626433832 on July 16th, 2023, gathering over 200,000 likes in two months (seen below, right).
