Zelda's Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Butt or Zeldass refers to a revelation made by a Twitter user that beneath her dress in Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, the fighter Zelda from The Legend of Zelda series appears to have a disproportionately large butt. The discovery led to jokes about the character's design on social media.

Origin

On February 5th, 2020, Twitter user @decentlymace^[1] tweeted that while editing a video about the latest Super Smash Brothers Ultimate update to 7.0, he discovered that the fighter Zelda has a frame where you can see the silhouette of her body under her dress, and that silhouette shows a disproportionately large butt. The tweet gained over 12,000 retweets and 56,000 likes (shown below).

Spread

The discovery led to a deluge of fan art depicting Zelda with an abnormally large butt, much of it NSFW. More SFW examples include a piece by Twitter user @lilrulu^[2] which gained over 640 retweets and 3,000 likes (shown below, left). User @NoJahnsArt^[3] posted a piece that gained over 110 retweets and 500 likes (shown below, right).

Others made jokes about the tweet. User @savinthebees^[4] tweeted "Zelda pulls up with her knights and a chariot," gaining over 280 retweets and 2,000 likes (shown below, left). User @RainbowSquidink^[5] tweeted simply, "That's the Legend of Zelda," gaining over 30 retweets (shown below, right).
