Look I know it's very hypocritical of me to complain about oversharing given what I've written in the newspapers about my own libido but I really didn't need to know that Elon Musk was pegged by Grimes.

While claims that Grimes pegged Elon Musk were made up, for many users it seemed to make sense, and they weren’t particularly surprised.

Others, who picked up on the falseness of the story, reacted sardonically to the original post.

Musk, who became the largest shareholder of Twitter and a member of the company’s board of directors this weekend, has been prominent on the platform for many years. A contentious figure, he has been hated by certain groups of users and adored by others.
i appreciate the twitter community immediately testing the boundaries of Elon taking majority stake

The made-up pegging stems from the camp of users who don’t like Musk, but those who do also had their own trend. At an unveiling of a Tesla factory in Texas (known as the "Gigafactory"), Musk made a grand and theatrical entrance, leading fans to compare him to Tony Stark. Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr. in the Ironman MCU franchise, is an inventor and business magnate (like Musk) famous for his wit and antics.
You can’t tell me @elonmusk is not the real-life version of Tony Stark. pic.twitter.com/9I11KojddU

elon musk makes the world more fun

Whether you think Musk could be the real Tony Stark, or you find him submissive and breedable, his actions in the world as owner of Tesla and now part-owner of Twitter are certainly impactful, and he has only become more central to online culture over the last couple of weeks.
Correction: In a previous version of this post, the maker of the original Musk pegging meme was credited as @VICTORIANCHILD. It actually was @DoctorPenisBoob. Thank you for e-mailing us and letting us know, and sorry for the mistake!
