I mean, this must be a parody right? Surely they know how silly this looks. You can't tell me a someone can seriously keep a straight face looking at that arm band.
This is the cover for the 2nd Edition version of Furred Reich (Out of the Ruins) by Len Gilbert. Apparently it was good enough to get <a href="https://www.audible.co.uk/pd/Out-of-the-Ruins-Audiobook/B082BHQ39K">turned into an audio book.</a> I don't know why I find this concept so funny, but I do. Now this is going to come as a complete surprise to everyone, but none of the artists who created the art pieces currently have active accounts that I can use as a direct source. I know, no one wanted to take ownership of this beautiful piece in this modern age; but unfortunately this is the internet, where nothing dies in a way that matters.
This is a real book, source is the Amazon page, and I'm just going to leave the blurb here because I can't make it any weirder myself. "Battle of Kursk, 1943. A young German conscript in an elite division of the Wehrmacht is pinned into a factory with his comrades. Just before his life ends, he finds himself awake in a world where animals talk and walk on two. Knowing only terrifying and confusing battles, Hans is elated to be taken out of the colossal struggle which consumed him.
