The animated series Invincible is in its third season, and fans are focusing on one of the title card scenes that's become known as the "Powerplex Speech."

It focuses on the character Powerplex, who (to put it lightly)
is not the biggest fan of the series' protagonist. In the scene, Powerplex criticizes Invincible to a crowd of people who seem bored and disaffected. Meanwhile, viewers watching at home were hooked. Some are calling it one of the most creative openings in the show.

So, what episode is it from? Who is Powerplex and why has his speech become a meme? Let's explain.

What 'Invincible' Episode Is The 'Powerplex Speech' Title Card From?

The speech comes from season 3, episode 6, titled, "All I Can Say Is I'm Sorry," in which the character Powerplex (voiced by Aaron Paul) is ranting to a crowd of people about Invincible not being held accountable for his destructive actions. He says, "You're not listening! This isn't about me."

Whenever Powerplex is about to say "Invincible," the show's title card flashes, replacing his voice.

What Is The 'Powerplex Speech' Script And Copypasta?

People are using the speech's script like a copypasta online, as in, they're copying and pasting it across the web, pulling curious people into the show's fandom. For your use online, here it is in full:

You’re not listening! This isn’t about me. This is about the thousands of people [Invincible] murdered and the countless other lives [Invincible] destroyed. Why is [Invincible] above the law? Why does [Invincible] never pay for his crimes? Where is [Invincible] when people are trying to put their world back together?

Okay, buddy, we hear you. So, what do you want?

What do I want? I want- I want the truth! I want justice! I want [Invincible]!

How Is The 'Powerplex Speech' Being Used In Memes?

The Powerplex Speech initially spread online because people were really into the interesting use of the title card image. "I can't take this show seriously," wrote one TikToker. "Best episode this season," they continued.

The copypasta is what's being used the most online. People are texting Powerplex's lines to their loved ones and are implementing the flashing title card as well. They're attaching the Invincible title card every few messages, coinciding with its rhythm in the original scene.
