Dil Se Bura Lagta Hai Bhai Please Bhai refers to a memorable quote from a viral video posted by Indian content creator Devraj Patel. Patel posted a video dressed in a purple collared shirt asking people not to leave bad comments under his videos by saying, "Please bhai mere videos par galat comment mat karo, dil se bura lagta hai," on an app called Vigo sometime in 2019. The video was reshared on Facebook and YouTube until it came to be used in several Indian memes. Interest in Patel's work was renewed in June 2023 after he died in a road accident.
Origin
On an unknown date in early 2019, a young Indian student named Devraj Patel posted a video of himself wearing a purple collared shirt asking people not to leave wrong or hateful comments under his videos on an app called Vigo. Patel says, "Please bhai mere videos par galat comment mat karo, dil se bura lagta hai," which translates to, "Please brother, don't leave wrong comments under my videos, it really pains my heart."
The video was reposted on the Facebook[2] page @FilterCopy on April 2nd, 2019, where it gathered over 1 million views and 7,000 likes in three years (seen below).
Devraj Patel reposted the video to his Instagram,[1] @Imdevrajpatel, in September 2020, where it gained viral interest again, gathering over 200,000 views in three years (seen below).
