I have my own reasons for having a problem with Tommy going around being the "internet police", and was expecting to get a lot of s--- for going after poor Tommy that lies about me constantly, but obviously I had no intentions at attacking every Dream SMP fan, or being ableist Imao. It was a dig at Tommy fans, because somehow the worst of the worst of the ex dream smp stans have congregated all to make up lies and s--- on other creators, and Tommy feeds right into it to promote his patreon, shows, book, or whatever else he's currently promoting, because he has absolutely no back bone. Overview
Dream Crashout refers to a three-hour-long stream hosted by Minecraft streamer Dream in early January 2025 in which he commented on his "beef" with British YouTuber Tommyinnit (notably using the slang term "crashout"). The controversy came days after streamers Tommyinnit, Mizkif and xQc entered an internet argument, leading Dream to post a meme that referred to Tommyinnit's fans as "retards." Dream faced backlash from some for using the "R-word" and deleted his post but later defended it during his Twitch livestream. Several internet users also clipped a segment of Dream's stream in which he says Tommy "shit on me for being a Trump supporter [stutters] when he knows that's not the case," using it as supposed "proof" that Dream harbors conservative beliefs.

On January 7th, 2025, Tommyinnit described his experience of meeting with fellow streamer Mizkif as unpleasant, saying that he had "never just genuinely hated every word and movement someone did" before meeting Mizkif.[1]

Streamer xQc weighed in on the drama during a January 8th livestream, saying, "These guys are all cringe, sorry."[2] Tommyinnit replied to the post on January 10th with a photo of xQc meeting with Donald Trump, writing, "to be more cringe than TommyInnit is pretty fucking hard but you pulled it off pal," and gathering over 200,000 likes in three days.[3]

Later on January 10th, 2024, xQc responded to Tommyinnit by posting a clip[4] of him doing a stand-up set, writing, "From doing streams in my basement to doing a stream with the president. How is that a dis? You went from dickriding dream for a living to making 'jokes' to teenage girls. Lock in." The post gathered over 22,000 likes in three days.
Dream quoted[5] xQc's post on January 11th, posting and later deleting a Dramatic Crossroads meme that called streamer Tommyinnit's fans "retards."
Later on January 11th, Tommyinnit reposted[6] a screenshot of the deleted meme, writing, "No fucking way did I make Dream say the R slur again. Actual bastard," and gathering over 240,000 likes in two days.
On January 12th, 2025, Dream hosted a three-hour live stream on Twitch[7] in which he discussed his use of the "R word," citing his autism and ADHD diagnosis as the reason why he is allowed to say it (YouTube reupload of VOD shown below). At the 1:09:26 timestamp, Dream says, "Tommy knows my political views and that this is an attempt to get people to shit on me for being a Trump supporter [stutters] when he knows that's not the case."
Developments
Tommyinnit posted a YouTube[8] video reacting to Dream's stream on January 12th, 2025, chastising him for using the word and calling out his friend group for being misogynists behind closed doors. Tommy's video gathered over 2.4 million views in a day.
Shortly after Tommy's upload, YouTuber[12] ChadCat posted an "ADHD" version of the video as a meme, receiving over 94,000 views, 4,600 likes and 600 comments in 17 hours.
On January 12th, 2025, X[9] user @GalaticCosmos posted a clip of Dream's stream in which he says, "Tommy knows my political views and that this is an attempt to get people to shit on me for being a Trump supporter [stutters] when he knows that's not the case," gathering over 1,000 likes in a day.

Dream posted and later deleted a comment on his Reddit account /u/dreamistaken to the /r/DreamWasTaken2[13] subreddit, trying to discuss the ethics of using the "R-slur," saying that he is "confused" about what the "rules" are, given the fact that several internet users use the word against him.
