Gerson Boom is a supporting character from Deltarune: Chapter 4. The character's popularity has resulted in several works of fan art and fan videos, as well as song remixes of his battle music Hammer of Justice.

Origin

Gerson first appears shortly after entering the dark fountain at the church in Deltarune: Chapter 4, and "joins" the party with unique dialogue options in battle. After a while, he returns to his study which holds a secret room that can be opened after playing three hidden sets of music and playing them on a piano north of the study. Upon entering the secret room, Susie finds the Justice Axe and tries to take it for herself, but is stopped by Gerson who tries to first charge her an exorbitant amount of Dark Money for it, but then lets her battle him for it instead by cutting off a few hairs from his head. The resulting boss fight is similar to the boss fight with Undyne in Undertale, in which you stay in one spot and use your weapon to block attacks from Gerson. You can also use Susie's Rude Buster to start a chain of back and forth deflecting attacks that will dizzy Gerson a bit if performed successfully.
