On February 14th, 2017, the Smosh YouTube[1] channel posted a video titled, "EVER CRUSH EVER," where at the 4:00 minute mark, Keith Leak Jr. can be seen making a face at his laptop and then reaching into his pants. The video gathered over 14 million views in seven years.
Early uses of the meme can be traced back to 9Gag, Facebook and Reddit comments where internet users posted the two frames of Leak looking at his laptop and then unzipping his pants, as if to say that one was simultaneously repulsed and aroused by something.
On September 11th, 2018, Redditor[2] /u/J0YC0N posted the meme to /r/memeeconomy, gathering 200 upvotes in six years.

The meme continued to gain traction on Reddit[3] in the late 2010s, as seen in a July 18th, 2019 post to /r/memes that gathered over 900 points.

On January 30th, 2023, X[6] user @FURIOUSSScs posted the meme as a reaction image to comment on streamer Atrioc's 2023 Deepfake Controversy, gathering over 79,000 likes in two years.
On March 16th, 2023, Keith Leak Jr, the actor featured in the meme, posted an Instagram[5] slideshow of the meme with the caption, "Stop sending me these 👿." The post gathered over 30,000 likes in a year.
