On April 7th, 2024, American rapper Meek Mill attended the Wrestlemania XL event to watch the tag team matchup with Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins against Roman Reigns and The Rock. During the match, Cody Rhodes and The Rock began to fight outside the ring, close to Mill's seat, which prompted the rapper to yell "get up!" to support The Rock. The moment was posted via Meek's Instagram stories and quickly shared on other social media platforms. One of the earliest viral examples was uploaded on X^[1] by @19Phranchize on the same day (shown below), which amassed over 2.7 million views and 26,000 likes in a week.

Meek Mill's "get up" scream clip was also posted on TikTok by @im.malachi^[2] on April 7th, which sparked more than 3,000 videos on the platform using the screaming for comedic skits and jokes about the rapper. For instance, on April 8th, 2024, TikTok^[3] user @karron_ posted a video of himself on the ground with the overlay text "When you roll your ankle and Meek Mill tell you to get up." The post (shown below, left) amassed over 5 million plays and 788,000 likes in a week.

On April 9th, 2024, TikTok^[4] user @desbeezy posted a video in which he appears passed out drunk on the toilet and Meek Mill tells him to get up. The post (shown below, right) received more than 1.4 million plays and 197,000 likes in a week.
