About
Frogan is an Arab-American Twitch streamer and former public health scientist who grew to prominence online in the early 2020s as a moderator for fellow streamer Hasan Piker. Her gaming streams gained traction in 2022, winning the "Rising Star" award at the 2023 Streamer Awards. In 2023, Frogan (who's Muslim) had a falling out with YouTuber and podcaster Ethan Klein (who's Jewish) from h3h3productions due to their differing opinions on the Israel-Hamas conflict. In early 2024, Frogan, alongside fellow streamers CapriSunnPapi and RaffoulTicket, launched their podcast titled Ayyrabs. In late 2024, Frogan became embroiled in numerous controversies after she was accused of promoting antisemitic beliefs on Twitch (alongside others such as Hasan) for which she and her fellow podcast hosts faced a 30-day ban in October 2024, as well as receiving backlash during that timeframe for making contentious statements about U.S. soldiers.
History
Frogan began streaming consistently on Twitch in the summer of 2021, soon after she earned her Master's in Public Health administration. She began by playing Fortnite with her friends while working as a researcher, with one of her earliest notable Twitch clips[1] from September 6th, 2021, showing her reacting to a Discord message in which someone calls her a "bad Muslim."
She began gathering a notable following after signing up as a moderator for Hasan Piker, who raided one of her streams with his followers during a subathon in late 2021. YouTuber[2] Blammo posted a video on August 7th, 2022, recounting how Hasan contributed to Frogan's success on Twitch, gathering over 12,000 likes in two years.
On March 12th, 2023, Frogan won the "Rising Star" Award during the 2023 Streamer Awards,[3] discussing her win and her rise to fame in a March 25th interview with the YouTube channel "Visionaries."[4] The post gathered over 600 views in a year.

Sabra Tier List Antisemitism Controversy
The Sabra Tier List Controversy took place in October 2024, when Frogan and her fellow podcast hosts entered into a highly publicized conflict with H3H3 Productions' Ethan Klein over a controversial event hosted by Frogan at TwitchCon 2024.
On September 21st, 2024, Frogan, Capri and Raff hosted an event at TwitchCon, alongside steamers DenimsTV and Vio in San Diego where they ranked fellow streamers on the basis of who they believed should receive a pass to use the word "habibi," a term of endearment in Arabic that translates to "friend" or "beloved." They sorted various streamers into the categories "Arab," "Arab Coded," "Asks Perms [permission]," "Thinks it's a slur" and "Loves Sabra."[5]
On October 19th, 2024, Ethan Klein posted a video to his YouTube[6] channel reacting to the aforementioned clip in a video titled, "Twitch Has a Major Problem." After discussing Twitch's decision to let Sneako back on the platform, he moved onto the Ayyrabs tier list segment at TwitchCon roughly a month before.
In the segment, he accused Twitch of platforming antisemitism by asserting that the phrase "Sabra" in the tier list was a reference to its literal meaning in Hebrew, "Jewish person born in Israel,"[7] in addition to "Sabra hummus," as the hosts of Ayyrabs claimed it was intended to reference. The video gathered over 215,000 views in 12 days.
Following significant controversy online, Twitch then issued bans on October 21st, 2024, for every streamer who participated in the TwitchCon "Habibi Pass" tier list, including Frogan, CapriSunPapi, Raffoulticket, DenimsTV and Vio.[8]
PTSD Soldiers Controversy
On October 17th, 2024, YouTuber[1] n1ghtm4re uploaded a clip from one of Frogan's recent streams (VOD since unavailable) in which she says that she has "no pity at all for any fucking soldiers." She continues, saying, "U.S. military, boo-fucking-hoo, I hope you get PTSD," and takes a bite of her food. She then says, "The ones I'm like, 'whatever' about, the U.S. soldiers, are the ones that acknowledge that what they did was wrong and they didn't know back then. Whatever, you're a good person in my book."
She continues to make her point as the video progresses, claiming the soldiers who realize they were wrong, say, "fuck imperialism," don't deserve the PTSD. She finishes the clip by saying, "I hope you get no health insurance when you get back into fucking America." The video gained around 4,400 views and 40 comments in four days.
The PTSD clip was defended by some but quickly garnered criticism on social media from many, sparking calls for Twitch to ban Frogan from the platform. After the initial virality of her statements, Frogan doubled down on her opinion during a stream and called her take "based." She then posted an apology on X / Twitter, claiming she worded her opinion incorrectly and that "wishing people harm isn’t the best way to talk about these issues."
