ImNotHae or the "Cue My Music" Guy is a content creator known for his commentary videos on TikTok and vlogs and pranks on YouTube. On TikTok, he is known for his intro in which he introduces the topic of the video, yells, "Cue my music!" then proceeds to speak as a beat plays in the background. ImNotHae began regularly posting content on YouTube in 2021 and on TikTok in 2023, amassing over 230,000 subscribers and 2.3 million followers, respectively, by 2025. In August 2025, ImNotHae became the subject of criticism on TikTok for the way he talked about high school problems while being in his 30s after posting a video about clothes you shouldn't wear back to school.

History

On April 4th, 2017, YouTuber^[1] ImNotHae posted a video compiling footage of rapper XXXTentacion getting into fights, garnering over 2,300 views in eight years. This is his earliest upload.

On October 26th, 2021, he posted a prank video to YouTube^[2] that garnered over 2,000 views in four years. ImNotHae began regularly posting similar content over the following years.

On November 16th, 2023, ImNotHae posted his first video to TikTok,^[3] garnering over 30,000 views in two years. The video is a storytime where he talks about an incident growing up.

ImNotHae continued to regularly post on the account over the next two years, amassing over 2 million TikTok followers by late 2025.

Between the start of May and the end of July 2025, ImNotHae had at least six TikTok videos reach over 10 million views. The most viral video in that span of time was uploaded to TikTok^[4] on July 4th, 2025, and sees Hae talk about white people he thought were Black, garnering over 22 million views in a month. The video features his signature intro, where he yells, "Cue my music!"

"Clothes That You Shouldn't Wear Back To School" Controversy

On July 26th, 2025, ImNotHae uploaded a video to TikTok^[5] in which he talks about clothes that you shouldn't wear back to school. In the video, he jokes that people shouldn't wear Timberland boots, skinny jeans, full zip hoodies, puff print sweat pants and Yeezy Foam Runners. The video gained over 6.5 million views in two weeks.

On July 30th, he posted a similar video to TikTok^[6] about the types of "bookbags" you shouldn't wear back to school, garnering over 3 million views in six days.

On July 31st, TikToker^[7] @semdenpriv posted a video criticizing Hae for the video. In the video, he calls Hae out for being 30 and talking about how kids in high school should dress. He suggests that kids should wear whatever they want, no matter how ridiculous, as long as they're happy. The video gained over 337,000 views in five days and sparked further videos criticizing Hae.

On August 4th, 2025, TikToker^[8] @sillydih69 posted a video criticizing Hae for the same things as @semdenpriv, also criticizing him for "stealing" Berleezy's intro and stealing his format, garnering over 2.7 million views in a day. TikToker^[9] @arospeaks posted a very similar video later that day, garnering over 740,000 views in a day.

Later that day, Hae posted a video to TikTok^[10] responding to the criticism. In the video, he reacts with jokes and sarcasm. The main thrust of the video has Hae joke that he's actually much older than 30, saying he's "ancient." He then gets more serious, saying if you never liked him, to stop watching and thanking his supporters. The video gained over 950,000 views in a day.
