"This Is Fucking Bullshit" refers to a quote from a video response by Twitch streamer Turner "Tfue" Tenney made in regards to his lawsuit against Faze Clan. On Instagram, the video gained notable popularity in edits mid-June 2019.

Origin

On May 22nd, 2019, Tfue released a video titled "My Response #ReleaseTheContract," made in regard to his lawsuit against the esports organization Faze Clan. [1] The video received over 6.7 million views in six weeks.



And I'm the first person to stand up and say: this is fucked, this is not right, this is not cool, this is fucking bullshit. This is fucking bullshit.

On June 17th, 2019, Instagram user jeffswiper posted a humorous edit "Me when someone destroys my Minecraft house" based on the video, gaining over 17,300 views and 2,100 likes in two weeks (shown below).[2] On June 19th, jeffswiper posted a green screen for the video on Instagram and YouTube.[3][4]



Following the release of the green screen, edits based on the video gained a significant on Instagram, including notable versions posted by Cyranek, [5] retry.mp4[6] and trap.memer.[7]
