About
Wabi Sabi is a traditional Japanese aesthetic about accepting imperfection. In November 2025, Wabi Sabi became a viral internet slang term, primarily on TikTok, when a scene from the animated series King of the Hill went viral in which the character Bobby Hill says, "But I like how mine's a little off-center. It's got wabi sabi," when talking about a rose to his dad, Hank Hill. The audio became a viral TikTok sound, leading to mass use of Wabi Sabi in memes and viral posts.
