Blunt Sesh + Exposing The Government refers to a YouTube thumbnail turned into a recaption meme and reaction image on Twitter X. The image is used as a meme and reply in late 2020, often replacing the thumbnail title for other subjects.
Origin
On January 13th, 2020, YouTuber[1] JaySmokesDaily uploaded a video titled "Blunt sesh + exposing the g0v3rnment ✈️" in which she smokes weed in a park while talking about conspiracy theories involving the government. The video (shown below) amassed over 108,000 views and 10,000 likes in four years.
Spread
More than a year after the video was uploaded on YouTube, JaySmokesDaily's thumbnail (shown below, left) was shared on X[2] by user @sexyenzyme on August 7th, 2021. The user added the caption "im obsessed with her," which received roughly 101,000 likes and 6,800 retweets in three years. On March 3rd, 2024, X[3] user posted a photoshopped version of the thumbnail referencing Dune: Part 2, recaptioning the title to "Spice sesh + exposing the imperium." The post (shown below, right) garnered over 22,000 likes and 2,300 retweets in a day.
