The post read, "Insane cold open here but I have a fart fetish," and included a webcomic of a character pointing at a guy farting and saying, "I cannot stress enough how much this shit sucks." Fallenchungus is known for creating several viral meme templates like Bro Visited a Friend and This Fucking Sucks Actually, among others. The admission inspired a slew of memes and viral discourse about Fallenchungus heading into 2025.

Origin

On January 15th, 2025, X^[1] user @datsmoojo (also known as Fallenchungus) tweeted, "Insane cold open here but I have a fart fetish." He continued, "This has been theorized as well as even framed on me numerous times throughout my history online … I'm here admitting this fact to be 100% true."

The post has since been deleted. However, a screenshot was reposted to FunnyJunk ^[2] and multiple quote-tweets of the post are still viewable on X.^[3]

Many internet users quote-tweeted the post with memes in the following days and months, making jokes about Fallenchungus' statement.
