Lolcow Live is a YouTube podcast produced by content creator Keemstar and hosted alternatively by YouTubers Boogie2988, WingsOfRedemption and Tommy C on the side of the lolcows and YouTubers SomeOrdinaryGamers, Nicholas DeOrio and Turkey Tom on the side of the farmers. The podcast format consists of alternating episodes featuring the lolcows and the farmers separately, with the lolcows discussing their lives and a variety of topics and the farmers reacting to and "handling" the lolcows and potentially filling in spots for the cows if any of them decide to leave the show. The first episode of the podcast premiered in mid-November 2023. Originally, DSPgaming was scouted to be one of the lolcows, but refused to work with Keemstar and purportedly tried to start the show with Boogie and Wings behind Keemstar's back.

History

DSP Drama

Keemstar began publically discussing and casting the Lolcow podcast in May 2023. Originally, he was trying to get YouTubers Dark Syde Phil (DSP), Boogie2988 and WingsOfRedemption to be the lolcows. On May 5th, 2023, Keemstar had a discussion with X^[1] user @KatBurnell where Burnell claimed that DSP admitted to wanting to steal the podcast idea from Keemstar and make the show with Boogie and Wings behind his back (shown below). Later that day, Keemstar announced on X^[2] that DSP was fired from the show and he was looking for a third cow, writing that he wants to get drama YouTuber TommyC.

That day, YouTuber^[3] Snort Hogan posted a clip from DSP's stream where he talks about not wanting to work with Keemstar and says he was never going to be on the podcast (shown below, left). On May 8th, YouTuber^[4] Tipster discussed the drama, sharing a clip of Boogie claiming that DSP approached him to make the podcast without Keem (shown below, right).

DSP admitted to trying to start the show without Keemstar during a stream^[5] (shown below).

Boogie2988 vs. Mutahar (SomeOrdinaryGamers)

On November 2nd, 2023, a series of DMs from a groupchat consisting of several commentary YouTubers, including Lolcow Live associates like Keemstar, Nicholas DeOrio and Mutahar, leaked to X.^[8] In the DMs, the creators discuss the age gap between Boogie 2988 and his girlfriend and how they disapprove of it. On November 5th, Mutahar posted a video to YouTube^[10] titled "Boogie2988 Is Completely Pathetic…" where he criticizes Boogie2988. He also goes over ongoing drama with Boogie that was happening on X, where Boogie was confronting Mutahar for calling Boogie "gross" for dating someone so young, garnering over a million views in 10 days (shown below).

On November 10th, Boogie appeared on ReviewTechUSA's YouTube channel to discuss the drama between himself and Mutahar, during which Mutahar called in and argued with Boogie, garnering over 200,000 views in five days (shown below).

Following this, several more DMs and voice notes between Keemstar and Boogie leaked, in which Keemstar berates Boogie for going on the show rather than having the discussion with Mutahar on Lolcow Live. Boogie purportedly previously promised to only discuss drama on the podcast. In the leaks, which were shared by X^[9] user and Lolcow Live farmer @nicholasdeorio on November 15th, Keemstar calls Boogie the ableist r-slur multiple times (shown below).

On November 15th, a video went viral on X where Boogie gets on his hands and knees at Keemstar's request and begs for him to let him stay on Lolcow Live (shown below).

That day, YouTuber^[11] Bowblax posted a video summarizing the drama, garnering over 16,000 views in two hours (shown below).

Premiere

On November 12th, 2023, the first episode of Lolcow Live was uploaded to the Lolcow Live YouTube^[6] channel, garnering over 129,000 views in three days (shown below). During the episode, the lolcows discuss Boogie2988's recent documentary, The Dark, Sad Life of Boogie2988 and a series of leaked messages from a group chat including creators like Keemstar, SomeOrdinaryGamers, WavyWebSurf and more discussing Boogie2988's relationship with his 20 year old girlfriend Désirée and whether or not she was of legal age when they started dating.

On November 15th, the first "farmers" episode of Lolcow Live was posted to YouTube,^[7] garnering over 8,000 views in several hours.
