One of the earliest "We Listen, We Don't Judge" videos was posted to Instagram[1] by user @thestanlley1 on April 21st, 2024. The humorous sketch shows a group of friends taking turns to reveal their secrets, all while reluctantly repeating the phrase, "We listen, we don't judge." The post gathered over 9 million views and 900,000 likes in seven months.

The trend began to gain traction on TikTok[2] in November 2024, with @livinglavidalalaa posting a We Listen, We Don't Judge video with her group of lesbian friends on November 21st, gathering over 9.8 million plays and 1.7 million likes in two weeks.
