More Than 10 Likes… Impressive is a series of reaction images depicting a character, often in low resolution, saying, "More than 10 likes……. impressive." The images are often used as a follow-up comment to an X (Twitter) post that gains over 10 likes, implying the post was a success. The original reaction image, which features Shrek saying the line, was posted by X user @megatronraid in August 2020 and gained viral spread over the following years, inspiring edits replacing Shrek with other characters, with another popular example being the Spy from Team Fortress 2.

Origin

On August 22nd, 2020, X^[1] user @megatronraid made a now-deleted post that gained over 55,000 likes in an unknown span of time. On August 25th, the user commented a meme under the post that depicts Shrek saying "More than 10 likes……..impressive," garnering over 400 likes (shown below). This is the earliest known iteration of the meme.

Spread

The format spread over the following years, inspiring new variations replacing Shrek with other characters. On July 13th, 2022, X^[2] user @reactjpg posted a version of the meme with the Spy from Team Fortress 2, garnering over 720 likes in two years (shown below, left). On April 10th, 2024, X^[3] user @TheTalkativeSea posted a version with Brian Griffin from Family Guy, garnering over 430 likes in a day (shown below, right).
