Perdeu Tudo! O Drama De x! Morando De Aluguel? is an exploitable image macro based on a YouTube thumbnail in Portuguese that translates to "Lost everything! The Drama Of X! Living on Rent?" The meme, which uses the original text as a phrasal template, is often used to mock a celebrity or character, showing a simple house indicating the person has lost all wealth. The image macro was popularized on Facebook, iFunny and Twitter around January 2021.

The earliest found post of the "perdeu tudo" meme was posted on Facebook by the meme page @50porcentovdd,^[1] who photoshopped a picture of American singer Miley Cyrus alongside a YouTube thumbnail showing a simple house and the overlay text "Living on rent." The post also has the text in Portuguese "Perdeu Tudo! O drama de Miley Cyrus" (English: "Lost Everything! Miley Cyrus Drama"), which received over 3,200 likes and 930 shares in three years (shown below).

Spread

The meme remained in the iFunny community for a short period of time, reaching Twitter around February 2021. For example, on January 8th, 2021, iFunny^[2] user @francescoreddi_2020 posted a version of the meme using a picture of former United States President Donald Trump. The post (shown below, left) garnered 22 likes in two years. On February 8th, iFunny user @FreeDeLaHoya_2020^[3] uploaded the meme using a picture of Brazilian singer Karol Conka (shown below, right), which received 34 likes in two years.

On October 4th, 2021, Twitter^[4] user @4dejulhopi uploaded the meme using a picture of Mark Zuckerberg. The post (shown below, left) garnered over 1,100 likes and 190 retweets in two years.
