Tall and Short Lesbians Smug Face On Boobas Pose is a viral exploitable redraw template showing two lesbian characters (one taller and one shorter) embracing, the short one holding the tall one so her face is resting between her breasts. The template was posted to Twitter by artist CAFFSTRINK in July 2023 and inspired numerous redraws in the following days, mostly on Twitter and Tumblr, depicting their ship pairings from various fandoms in the pose.

Origin

On July 2nd, 2023, Twitter^[1] artist @CAFFSTRINK posted a rough drawing showing a short lesbian character holding a tall lesbian character with her face in the tall lesbian character's breasts, writing, "Had a dream everyone was drawing lesbian ships like this," garnering over 88,700 likes and 12,000 retweets in three days (shown below). They later posted the template to Tumblr,^[2] garnering over 890 notes in under 24 hours.

Spread

The art template became notably popularized over the following days on both Twitter and Tumblr as users quote-retweeted the post and made their own posts showing ship pairings in the pose. For example, on July 2nd, 2023, Twitter^[3] user @titty_pizza posted a Splatoon version of the meme that gained over 14,000 likes in three days (shown below, left).

On July 4th, Twitter^[4] user @lumieluna posted a version of the meme featuring Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, garnering over 74,500 likes in a day (shown below, right). That day, Tumblr^[5] user enigma-system posted a version featuring Michael Myers from Halloween embracing Ghost Face from Scream, garnering over 100 notes in a day.
